Dude read thru stebo's post....he talks about it also. There has been some shady shit, some controversies over tenure, as well as other things at the Uni. If we suddenly announce 15 million + for a damn stadium...whether we raised it ourself within the AD or not...Someone is gonna blow a gasket in the departments. Count on it. I am all for this stadium but I don't need to know everytime RV buys a new seat back or endzone pylon... I just want the stadium I am sure this isn't a good enough answer but tis all i got right now...

I think the fact that the school is still academically driven and the athletic department is still the ugly stepchild in the sight of the professors and academic schools (not so much the admin) keeping what is being done on the down low is a must do. If RV came out and said I am 75% to my goal of 15 million or how ever much then I just see it...as stebo stated...starting an uprise in the university because they are not too supportive.

TI Green is right... When a fight or altercation breaks out you are required to call the police and both parties either recieve tickets or warnings or something. I got into a fight in 5th grade and the police were called. No tickets or anything but we both got In School Suspension and then three weeks later the cop was seen on Jerry Springer and his "new" wife was actually a dude. Sorry that was off topic...

From a more than reliable source involved in this case... The kid was in a scuffle with another teammate and they were fighting and the coach stepped in to break it up and caught a punch. After the kid hit the coach he knew he was in trouble and went and sat on the bench and waited because he knew the police were going to be coming to get him. Now in my eyes, I dont see it as bad now that I know the whole story. If you have ever played competitive sports, had a competitive job, or anythign like that - you know that tempers flare up (especially in football). This kid effed up and accidentally popped his coach. Had he reeled back and knocked his coach out then I would be right where most of you are in the fact he shouldnt have made it to the bench... Does anyone know my last name?
