Oh, I didn't know we were doing math, because I didn't see any. 116h in the nation. 12th in CUSA. That's where we are right now. Even adding enough to put us up to 8th or 9th still makes this a par class for us, ranking somewhere in the 100 range. That's still bad.

Weird, because I don't see your numbers for all 14 teams anywhere. I did the same, and it moved us to 14th.

You can do whatever you want. It still won't make this a good class. And it won't be accurate unless, as I stated, you make the same adjustments for every other team.

Even if we did.... 90+ is our usual, and we usually suck at football.

Now just do that for the rest of the CUSA. Still waiting.

My grade would've been the same, but my F for going 2-10 wouldve been pulled up to a C/C- for hauling in a top recruiting class... but it might have to be higher than a top5 CUSA class to pull it up that much. Instead, my F for recruiting the 116th ranked class in the country has been pulled up to a C/C- for winning 5 games. Weirdly, I think the ability to coach up recruits AND the ability to bring in talent are both important for a coaching staff. To get anything around an A or a B, you'd have to give me something I hadn't seen before.

Yeah, I gave a C. Probably should've given a C-. I need to stop grading on a curve, based on Mac, DD, Dodge. I can't really remember what I graded (or if I graded at all) before, but my general opinion has hovered in this same territory.

About the same as always. Our usual ranking between 90-115.

We should heckle them for not choosing guys that fit their system, instead of wasting all that time and energy recruiting the 7 4-stars and 9 3-stars. They clearly are screwing up by recruiting the #2 ranked recruiting class in the Big 12 and #25 class in the nation.

As a 5'7" former safety, I approve this recruit.

How often do wins follow recruiting failure?

Steward - UCLA, USC, Colorado, A&M Perry - Colorado, Illinois, Indiana Harris - Baylor, Georgia Tech Daniels - Syracuse, Maryland McLeod - Kansas Now, that's not exactly a who's who of P5 schools, but it's certainly a good number... and it doesn't include G5 schools that we fail to beat out for recruits, like Boise State, CSU, Houston, SMU.

If we're on the list next year, then we'll have a real story.

Yeah, In-N-Out sucks, only made palatable by a "secret menu", a dumb gimmick without which it would be just another LA burger stand. When I moved to LA and people raved about it, I was excited to try it. I kept trying it, kept trying different "secret menu" combinations. Kept thinking maybe I just wasn't doing it right. Nope, it's just a mediocre burger joint. The smog must have ruined their taste buds. But back to the topic at hand. I'm all for using a scholly on an elite kicker. Have you guys SEEN how many games, even bowl games, are won or lost by elite teams because they just pulled some guy out of soccer practice?

Don't you know that our coaches run such a unique, unheard-of system, on both offense and defense, that they look for completely different things in their athletes than the number of FBS schools that run similar (but clearly not as original) systems?
