Amen brother!!!! I'm proud you did not want to play catch on the sideline with "COACH" Riley Dodge on the sideline when were down 35 points in the second half. Yes a we in the stands did see it. What was the kid thinking ? He did find our 3rd string kicker to catch for him. That was real sad !!!! The true freshmen needs to learn Respect. .

Me and a few others on this board have seen Chase Baine play. He led Lake Dallas on a pretty deep playoff run at the QB position. The kid is a gamer. He has great field vision. I talked to the Lake Dallas coaches when he first walked on and all the could say was "Wait till he gets his Chance". Well mayby with all that is going on its time to see what he can do.

I Pick Chase Baine. The kid put up huge numbers while playing QB for Lake Dallas. I think its time (with all that has happened the past few days) to open up the receiver competition and lets see what this WALK-ON can due. See ya SATURDAY GO MEAN GREEN.

Lets give some of our walkons a chance. Chase Baine the former QB at Lake Dallas. Coach Dodge has him playing WR. He put up huge numbers at LaKe Dallas. Let Vizza or Dodge throw him some passes. and see what he can do after the catch.

I'm not against Riley. I want him to succeed. Im against the special plays for him. We have other options. Yes I agreee he should be the QB now. He runs alot better than VIZZA and that is how Dodge ball is supposed to work . A DUAL THREAT QB running the O. Vizza can throw but doest not like to run the ball and that hurts the O. Yes I had a few cold ones during the game and yes I did answer my own post. I do not know where all the arrows came from mayby to many Bud light limes. I will be there THis weekend GO MEAN GREEN !!!

Did anyone on here watch the Notre Dame game this weekend. The Irish had top notch coverage all day. I believe 2 fumble recoveries. I was impressed with the spirit of their special teams. The 2 gunners run like man men down the field. The one little gunner is a " FORMER WALK-ON" looks like "RUDY" yes I said Rudy.....he earned his scholy for his dedication to special teams play. Thats all he does!!! The whole team luvs him for it. I believe Dodge has players like that on our sideline. We have several walk-ons " Squier, Baine, Deheck to name a few that are itching to get on the field of play to show what they can do. Its time to make MEAN GREEN special teams a "Privilege". If the scholies are not up for the challenge get off the field and let some the "Blue Collar Boys" go get some.

People.......People...... This was for TV and the Newspapers......It gave them something to talk about. TD excuse is BS. We have plenty of good receivers on the sidelines that can make an impact. Desmond Brigham from Caddo Mills, Kenny Barrett from Mart, and the walk-on Chase Baine from Lake Dallas(three TDS in the spring games). IT was poor decision for PR. As for his play last night. Any of the three above could have done the same when you have special plays in the O being called for ya.

Want to go tonight and for the full pad work out.

Thanks for the update. As yall know from my past posts I pull for the walkons. Baine had a great spring , I hate that he has to sit out this fall but the NCAA has their reasons for transfers rules. Hope he can get some "scout team" time and develop while helping our MEAN GREEN DEFENSE get ready for their games. Cole Fraizer did look good on th D side. I wish "The Local Boys" Luck !!!

Chase Baine #24 white Jake Brown #24 green Baine is on roster as DB but played on O side all day today. Heck its the first scrimmage they both could be somewhere new next Friday.....But yes it was a heck of catch.

Greg Brown is #84 Chase Baine is #24 I'm glad I printed the roster today.........many new faces out there. I saw a few in the crowd (like me) looking up numbers and putting names to them !!! I saw Kevin there also.......(Man he came all the way from Hawaii to be watch today.) What an Alum!!!!

I was there today........ Matt Phillips first TD was to Walk- on Chase Baine and it was a heck of a catch. He connected with Baine for another TD his second series. I thought Matt look good out there and his SR. leadership is very obvious on special teams. I saw some good things today both on the O and the D.

I was going over the spring roster and see a few new names. I see some local boys/ walkons listed. Chase Baine from Lake Dallas, Weston Squier from Sanger. Anybody have info on any other new names on the roster? I love to follow the walkons and their careers at Noth Texas. It wasn't that long ago that "The Great Casey Fitzgerald" was a walk on from Red Oak and look at him now. ROAD TRIP TO RICE IS IN MY FUTURE .......HOW MANY MORE WILL BE HEADING SOUTH ????

6 out of 15 made the first cut yesterday! I understand they still have a lot of hard work ahead of them. Keep it up guys and good luck!!!!! I will try to find out more about who they are today!!!!
