    We need to see a little more of ODU before knowing what they really are. If their QB can keep it up that will not be an easy game in Norfolk.

    If we don't get the G5 NY6 bowl (and there's a LOT that needs to happen over the next few months for that to become a reality...a LOT), anywhere we can play a P5 should be the goal for a bowl game. If that's at the HOD Bowl, so be it.

    The La Tech LSU game seemed very strange based on the box score. A 24-0 start for LSU, then 21 straight by La Tech, then 14 unanswered by LSU. La Tech hung but wonder what changed after LSU went up 24-0.

    La Tech will be a super tough game, but the SOS argument loses some steam when you look at how lopsided the games were.

    While we all hope this becomes less of a rarity moving forward, this situation is incredibly special for us. This is the first time taking the field in Denton at 4-0 or better since 11/7/1959 against Louisville. There is no excuse for Mean Green Nation not to pack that stadium on Saturday, rain or shine.

    It’s a evening game in late September. The sun won’t be brutal for very long.

    The temperature will be great. Hopefully the rain holds off.

    I think there was a big difference between the pre and post 3rd quarter rain delay NT teams. Both probably would have won the game. But the post rain delay team came out and annihilated Liberty. Liberty was hanging around before that.

    Reading the topic title as a question makes it seem the post would be some sort of scandalous exposé about the alumni pavilion.

    Can’t it be a “trap game” that we just handled really really well?

    If there’s something being played for it will be close to packed despite the start time. Regardless, at the end of the day NT had very little say in the date and time.

    Plus Liberty having a packed stadium and two weeks to prepare. I have to think our coaches and players understand that but also know this publicity is very valuable. Makes for an extra busy week.

    I have a feeling this one is going to go down to the wire whether it should or not. 38-35 North Texas.

    I’m concerned about this game as well. I think this will be the most difficult yet this season.

    This game has me very concerned for some reason. They are going to have a big crowd and absolutely demolished Old Dominion there. We have to have our minds right.

    This will easily be our second hardest OOC game if not the hardest. The team needs to forget about Arkansas and the punt return immediately and put their focus on getting back home at 4-0. I’m confident they will do that but this game will NOT be easy at all

    Would be nice if La Tech could take down LSU this weekend.

    They were going to be ready regardless. Morris knows us well. We were rolling in 2-0 and even if Arkansas has squeaked our a victory against CSU the impact on their motivation would have been the same. It’s going to be a different animal playing them in Fayettville vs. CSU getting them in Fort Collins.

    They would be angry even if they had just barely scraped out a win. Playing angry also doesn’t always equal playing better.

    Well if we do manage to win CUSA it will be pretty important as we fight with the other G5 teams for the New Years six spot.
