The fan support/program success chicken and egg argument will go on forever. But we can only directly impact one of them. We should do that. Was yesterday an awful loss, sure? No chance I’m going to make a single excuse for that, but the arrow is still pointed up.

I think that’s really difficult to say without any other quarterbacks having played in this system yet. No one should get dramatic and see that as a shot at Mason. He’s a special player. But to basically say we are never going to have another QB like him is premature. Will we ever have one exactly like Mason, probably not. But will we ever have another QB that Approximates this productivity and impact on the team? Who says we can’t.

I still think we are a good team. Not great. Certainly very inclined to mentally shoot ourselves in the foot. Nothing has been the same since La Tech. Most notably from an excitement perspective. To lay that egg in front of 30k people, with all the festivities, the atmosphere, after all the publicity, and for it all to be self inflicted Was just incredible in a bad way.

Fine does still have his senior season...there’s also nothing to say we won’t find another great QB to follow him.
