Because of all the arguments that can be made for a new arena, having to move location for a game against a division 3 school once every 5 years isn’t really one of them. That is just my opinion.

Both of those were irrelevant games against lower division schools and it’s rare that that even happens. It’s not like conference games are getting bumped to Ryan high.

I think if we come back at 17-1 we average 6k for the 3 game homestand.

There is absolutely nothing in it for us playing NDSU. We won’t be doing that.

Quite a bit of work done in there over the last few years.

Whether it should have been or not, the Cowboys game was a major detriment to the attendance today.

The lights are there. They are just not turned on. It’s a choice to have the spotlight on the court. My personal preference would be to have the whole arena a bit lighter. But it’s not super high on my list of concerns.

The darkness is a lighting choice.

The men are on both 88.1 and 95.3 unless there is an overlapping women’s game. The women take 88.1 in that scenario.

Was hoping we’d be able to get the maximum net points winning by ten. I’ll take a 1 point win at this point.

Our run was bigger than theirs. I’ll take it. We did look a bit of a mess on offense for the last few minutes of the half...

Interesting that it seems like WVU didn’t really want Dana anymore.

It’s a good hire but does mean a little less when 1) WVU doesn’t seem too upset about letting him go and apparently wasn’t willing to make much effort to keep him and 2) Holgorsen seems to be looking for any path out of Morgantown (which I understand is actually a decent place to live). Should be a great game next year in Denton.

I bet there’s at least a decent chance Holgerson uses this to get what he wants out of WVU.

I think it’s just a computer ranking. In any event playing @ ODU won’t be easy and even making it to that with only one loss is going to be a big challenge.

Your point still stands but Jimbo Fisher (FSU to A&M) and Willie Taggart (Oregon to FSU) come to mind.

Would like to see Texas Southern in Denton next year. I think that would be fun.

Bowl games are more akin to everyone getting playing time than everyone getting a trophy, but it’s really neither.

I’m guessing 4500.

There’s nothing wrong with all the bowl games. I like 6 wins being the bar. It gives teams that finish 6-6 a chance for a winning season. The number of bowls may fall organically if it stops being a profitable venture, but it’s not hurting anyone that it “means less” than it did 30 years ago. No one is acting like it’s a huge accomplishment to get to a bowl. It’s a bonus for the team and fans to have a little extra fun. There no harm in that just like there’s no harm in the CBI or the “NIT” for volleyball. You can have greater aspirations (CFP, NCAA tourney, etc.) and still enjoy competing in whatever opportunities arise.

Hoping our fans turn out well. 13-1 vs 11-3 is a big matchup.
