Vegas has NT -5.5. That seems like a lot.

I think what we are missing to really take advantage of our record from an attendance perspective is a signature win. JJ had a few pretty good wins over perceived good teams. A couple at home.

Disagree. Atmosphere has been good despite attendance numbers being disappointing. Also, we are going to finish this year up probably 1200-1500 people per game above Benfords last year. People don’t seem to acknowledge quite how bad things had gotten and the hole we have to dig back out of.

I actually think we sneak into the top pod losing 3 of the last 4 though it’s certainly not ideal. There are reasonable scenarios in which there is a tie for 5th at 8-6

Massive games next week. Hopefully we ramp up the promotions to get people out. Two wins would almost guarantee a spot in the top pod.

It probably won’t be ready for August, but it will be done by December when we need a warm place to practice for our College Footballs Playoff semifinal.

Theirs mostly leave for head coaching positions. Maybe my point was not clear. I just hope we continue moving forward and keep becoming less and less susceptible to poaching for lateral positions. We have QUITE a ways to go to catch the likes of USC, but hopefully in the coming years we can catch the bottom of what is now the P5.

Eric Morris would be awesome if we could somehow get him away from UIW for a coordinator position. That has the potential to basically set up a head coach in waiting.

Obviously the goal should be to one day be able to hang onto these coaches (however far out that may be), but if the reasons for needing to replace a coach are: 1) they were pretty good and got hired away or 2) were really terrible and had to be replaced, I'll certainly take #1. We gained about 600 fans per game year over year in Grants first year. If we can keep averaging what we did over the last few home games for the rest of this year we will basically do the same thing (500-600). Im certainly disappointed things aren’t improving more quickly but things are improving. So it could definitely be worse.

Of course he takes this job. He’d be an NFL head coach within 30 days.

We seem to be drawing better on thursdays than Saturday’s. Is that consistent with how things were in the past. I seem to remember the opposite.

NT a 13.5 point favorite. Hard to see us beating anybody by that much with how the last few games have gone.

Every team loses games. It does feel like NT always tends to lose when people start showing up. The crowd wasn’t massive but was easily the largest student crowd in years. Hoping people stay on the bandwagon.

Hope this doesn’t hurt the crowd for Saturday. It wasn’t just a loss. It was a terrible game to watch.
