WKU lost again today. Tied at 10-2 with them at the top. Huge series this weekend.

WKU dropped a game to Marshall yesterday so if we can take 2 of 3 in Bowling Green we will be in first place.

I wonder if we see Trautwein out there for game 3 or if they give someone else some experience.

Anything less than a sweep this weekend would be a disappointment. Saint Mary’s is very bad.

And I’m sure Mitchell wants more. She probably wanted to be contending for conference titles already. But the fact is this was a BAD program for the better part of 15 years before she took over. I think the days of single digit win totals are over for our team. Edit: in fact over the last 20 years the program has really only had success when she’s been a part of it. Either as a player or coach.

We have some really promising pieces for next year. Mims is a great ball handler. I think shepherd shows promise along with Townley. George (who will be a senior) has had some fantastic games and then at other times struggles mightily. Bradley’s scoring will be very hard to replace. I think this recruiting class will get a lot of minutes next year as well. It is a very disappointing end to the season, because we are getting completely annihilated (App State has outscored us 65-30 since we had a 12 point lead), but Mitchell has pulled this program from the depths to at least a respectable middle of the pack team. Next step is to legitimately contend for a conference title.

Really disappointingly performance in this one. We scored the same amount of points in the first quarter as we did in the 2nd and 3rd combined. Anything is possible but a 14 point deficit is close to insurmountable given how we are playing.

Slipping away already. Down 8 now. We can’t hit anything.

TIed at the half. App State has all the momentum right now.

We have blown a 12 point lead in about 5 minutes of game time. App State on a 14-3 run. Game on.

22-15 NT after the first quarter. We looked terrible the last few minutes a didn’t score. 5-0 run for App State to end the quarter.

Yes, it is similar. You still have to get chosen by the tournament organizers, but have to pay if you are the home team for a game (most of which appears to go to the other team for travel).

WKU also sweeps (FAU) today to stay undefeated in conference and in first place overall. WKU is our next conference series in a couple of weeks in Bowling Green.

For his position he really isn't going to have THAT many better options than us if he wants to rack up stats and get noticed.

App State is 21-14. Three common opponents this year. Marshall (twice) and UAB. App State beat Marshall twice (both in Boone) by 22 (November) and 12 (WBI Quarterfinal) and lost to UAB by 19 in Birmingham. We lost to Marshall by 12 in Huntington (February) and lost by 10 to UAB in Birmingham (January). This will likely be a challenging game on the road.

The App State broadcast was actually wrong. The game is on Wednesday as @Brett Vito initially reported. EDIT: Game time is 5:30 CT. I have not seen anything official on broadcast yet.

Pretty solid not giving up a single run today. 3-0 NT Final in game two.

According to App State broadcasters game will be Tuesday, not Wednesday.

Campbell down 9 with under 4 minutes left. Looks like we will have to travel to Boone, which doesn’t appear to be an easy place to get to.
