I think a referee is more likely to throw the flag when a player isn’t making any attempt on the ball.

The volleyball team lost in front of an overflow crowd today....they lost 3-0 but took #22 rice past 25 points in the first two sets. Could have turned out differently.

Khairi didn’t help himself there by never turning around.

Win 3-4 in a row and be in the title chase and attendance will be right back at 25k plus. Or at least somewhat close.

That’s what game planning is for. And we haven’t done a good job of it this year. At all. With that said, Seth has done some really great things here, and given how he is recruiting any talk of buying him out and hiring someone different is crazy talk.

I have seen this mentioned a few times. I hope I am wrong but I think most of us would be very disappointed with the attendance at a CUSA title game. For teams with fan bases that are not fully established, always beware the games (from an attendance perspective)that aren’t on the schedule at the beginning of the year. I’ve witnessed this time and time again with FC Dallas.

If we could have avoided the ST mistakes we very easily could have been in the game late in the 4th. The defense was shaky no doubt but it had done enough to give us a chance.

I refuse to let myself expect a loss to any of the teams left on our schedule. Maybe I should know better after 30 years of this.

I understand we look really bad right now, but even with that taken into account I think it’s silly to not have us in the top 3 of CUSA.

The 2018 La Tech crowd was bigger IMO. It was certainly louder. Maybe it just felt bigger.

I think this is a much more intriguing question after last night. We absolutely must end the conference championship drought, and that would be huge. On the other hand given how incredibly bad CUSA is and the awful losses to our main recruiting competition, it becomes an interesting debate.

The number of times we have done this (including big away crowds) in recent memory is astonishing.

That’s what I thought it would be like going into it, but our family really enjoyed Albuquerque.
