We don’t need to be playing anyone else’s fight song. I won’t even sweat it if we don’t play their Alma Mater. But if that team brought their band, they should get a chance to play their Alma Mater before the game.

The women’s team has GA only (other than floor seating). I would think the men should only have GA in upper level, but of course most people are just going to sit in the lower level anyway.

I saw this happen a few times. One OU fan and his son had to move several times. I had no idea it was because of GA seating.

I think you are saying this in jest, but I think there is some truth to this. There were several times where I thought we had a VERY ticky tack foul called on us. But it is much harder for me to think of many times where I thought OU committed a foul but none was called.

She has improved her win total each year she has been here. Up to something like 18 last year.

We should have won the game. But at least we didn’t get our doors blown off. I hope that experience is enough for those students to come back and bring their friends.

The only way the G5 should agree to anything like this is if the champion gets a guaranteed spot in the big CFP. Of course that would add an extra 2-3 games of wear and tear leading up to it.

The band was awesome this year and a definite step forward. If I had to nitpick some things (as definitely a non-expert) it would be the following: 1) I agree with those saying the GB should play the other schools Alma Mater. That would be neat. At the very least we need to let the visiting band play it (if they are there). Neither SMU nor La Tech let the GB play ours pregame. Rice (who has a terrible fan base and about 20x oversized stadium, but actually has pretty decent game day presentation) did. 2) when the band marches in through the Parking lot I think they should be full playing. Not just playing drums and chanting. 3) I’m sure this is easier said than done, because it has to be a lot of work, but it seems like we repeat halftime performances 2 or even 3 times over the course of the season. 4) I think we need to make “You’ll Never Wall Alone” a bigger deal. Somewhat similar to what Liverpool FC does. It would take some time and effort to get people to participate, but it would be awesome.

I feel like that number should be higher. But I suppose walk up will be big. It shouldn’t matter, but going up against the Cowboys isn’t helpful.

Exactly. Hopefully this game gets a lot of people hooked the way that the OSU and Tech games did in a prior era.

It will easily be 70/30 green if not more.

For what its worth, I've always thought the Texas Tech game was the better experience of the two (OSU being the other).

We have to stop giving up these major runs....we've been doing it all year. These aren't the standard 6-0 or 8-0 runs.

This game should always be scheduled for a weekend.

The last one was Western Kentucky in 2015. Marshall in 2014 before that.

I don’t think anyone is surprised about the padded numbers. I think this is just a realistic discussion on a message board about what the real number was. It was really really bad.

Lost by 11. I'm not a moral victory guy at all, but we followed up the win against Hawaii with two pretty decent performances. Freshman Nyah Boyd with 22. Freshman Randi Thompson with 11. In a game that Anisha George was pretty much shut down (5 points and 4 rebounds) we found a way to battle. I know there are a lot of skeptics but I think this might be a pretty good team after another few weeks.

8-10 thousand human beings? One-third of the stadium? Everyone in the stadium could have fit into about 4 sections.

Cut 10k in half. Then cut it in half. Then you are probably within a thousand or so of the real number.

The argument that we can't draw well because we are in CUSA is an excuse for a culture problem within our fan base.

I was disappointed with our attendance that day. What was even worse was that FAU only had about 6,000 people there.
