I mean, the third possibility is SL doesn’t believe the other guys will do better and that Aune is his best chance to win. I get some of you don’t like SL, but he’s not losing intentionally. Even if he knew his status for next year he wouldn’t be doing that.

We can all agree Littrell took over a mess. One win team the year before to 5 wins, then back to back 9 win seasons. Had an awful 4 win season after that, yes. But if we are ignoring the Covid year and then he bounces back to 7-6 and a bowl win this year, that’s really not an awful tenure. I almost can’t believe I’m making this argument, but here we are.

What I’m saying is they have a dedicated basketball practice facility in the old Liberty Christian complex. Seems like a good place to add some work out equipment.

Would be nice to have a coach that had enough success to think he was untouchable.

If he wins out, he deserves another year. Period. That’s not lowering expectations, it’s being rational.

Shouldn’t the weight room be by their practice facility? Not in the actual super pit? Seems like that is something the athletic department could do on their own without that pesky uptight academic side getting in the way.

Interestingly ESPN FPI has predicted every game correctly as well. That has us going 5-7 as of right now.

Is it really though? Have you or anyone else been told by athletic department officials that this is an actual problem, not just a theoretical problem to add to the list of bullet points as to why we need to spend a bunch of money on a new arena when we already have a perfectly fine arena in a superior location.

A forgettable tournament for our guys. Neither will make the cut.

There is no way a 7-6 finish with a 6 game win streak and our first win over a ranked opponent in 47 years doesn’t get Seth an extra year. And the reality is it SHOULD get him an extra year.

Bingo. There’s someone making $700k and someone making just about that whose job it is to see through the noise and make the best decision for our program.
