I assume Guerrero will end up somewhere else since he just decomitted. If we can pull a great transfer, and maybe a certain teammate of Jordan Williams, we may actually end up with a higher ranked class.

They probably just guessed, but I think that 7,100 is pretty close to how many people were there + season ticket holders that could not make it.

It is not like our class is that far behind the class that WKU pulled in...and we are not done yet, they are. I don't think this is how you meant it, but we are not inferior to WKU in anything. In my personal experience interacting with their fans, they are by far the most arrogant fan base in the Sun Belt. They WILL NOT dominate the Sun Belt for the next 4 years just because of this recruiting class, and the reason for that is because we got a darn good class as well.

I understand the pun with RV Park, and it is funny, but in all seriousness, it should not be named after RV unless he is either dead, or a large donation is contingent upon that name like the Darrel R. Dickey Practice Fields. I know Darrel Royal is not dead, and his name is on the UT stadium, but at the very least it should not be named after RV while he still works here.

The Sun Belt West Title is a regular season conference championship, so that gets a banner. The Sun Belt Tournament Title is a postseason conference championship, so that gets a banner. The NCAA Tournament banner just shows our participation in the tournament, which I think most schools display in some form.

I was ready to put a positive spin on this. After listening to the first 15 minutes or so, it seemed we could at least hang within 10 or 15 points, but losing by over 30 points, giving up 120 points total, and apparently 30 turnovers is really, really bad. Like GrandGreen said, with this 8-game road trip, its not going to get much easier for them anytime soon.

The last score I heard was 110-78. They really let it get out of hand.

54-38 at the half. Keep in mind that ORU received 26 of 30 first place votes, and is picked to win the Summit League. They are also ranked #19 in the mid-major top 25 poll. It is frustrating that we fell behind like we did, but I think our play this year so far (minus TWU) is showing that we may have an ok season in SBC play. ORU did beat UTA by over 50, and we made a 30 point swing on SFA from last year. Im not on the SS bandwagon or anything, but there are AT LEAST a few rays of hope for this season.

No kidding. It truly shows that it's not absurd for us to expect some results in year 1 of a coach's tenure. Great Job Coach! The game tips off at 4:00 in Oklahoma. UNT is coming off a good win against SFA, but the way we almost blew it at the end worries me. Oral Roberts is 1-0 as well, but they left NO DOUBT in their game, defeating UT-Arlington 110-58 at home. I'll probably listen to this one while I do some homework. Go Mean Green!

The same could be said for any of our 5 conference losses. The game against MTSU (the regular season conference champion) that we had a 2-0 lead and lost 3-2 sticks out in my mind. Good news is that we still get a trophy.

Arkansas State won their match 3-0 today over ULL. ASU and North Texas are co-champions of the SBC west division. ASU holds the tiebreak with a 5-4 lead in total sets won in head to head action with UNT, so they will receive the #4 seed in the SBC tournament, while UNT will receive the #5 seed. That means that UNT and ASU will meet in the first round of the tourney. The tournament starts on Thursday in Murfreesboro, TN.
