  1. Considering it is right next to a dorm, yes it is on campus.
  2. North Texas had a 13 point lead at one point, but has blown it big time and is down 43-36 at halftime.
  3. North Texas up 13-4 at the first media TO. Live Stats Game is on 88.1 KNTU.
  4. Just having that ranking by our name would do more for our attendance than the 20-1 record itself would. We have a long road to get to that, but anything is possible. This team certainly seems to know how to win.
  5. Well, I guess we can put that one in the loss column next year......FOR INDIANA! Mccarney can handle this guy. Go Mean Green!
  6. You do realize that bolding well over half of your post completely defeats the purpose of bolding anything right? They must not teach common sense at SMU...you know...the school you have no affiliation with at all...
  7. +1. That statue is epic. JJ should have a cane in one hand like Sam Houston does, but he should be spinning a basketball on his finger with the other hand.
  8. I am hoping to make it down there, but I am not sure yet if I can.
  9. When I saw this I was worried they got rid of "ninja face." No worries...
  10. If we had a girl that was 6'7, I think it would. That is a game changer in women's basketball. Put Brittany Griner from Baylor on the UNT women's team, and we probably have only lost 1 or 2 games so far.
  11. I'm sure Shanice Stephens would be thrilled if Kedrick could play on her team...
  12. Thought this was interesting. These rankings are according to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches: Rankings Garland Lakeview (Chris Jones) is #1 in Texas 5A. South Grand Prairie (Trey Norris) is #11 in Texas 5A. Dallas Kimball (Jordan Williams) is #6 in Texas 4A. Eastland (Forrest Robinson) is #10 in Texas 2A. I could not find Casper CC (Brandan Walton) in any NJCAA polls. This is awesome for our recruiting. Not only are they getting experience playing on good teams, but they are getting used to winning, and learning "how to win". They are coming from a culture of winning in high school, and joining one at the college level. Also, these teams are likely to go deep into the HS playoffs, which will provide even more experience for these recruits in elimination games against good competition. Hopefully these recruits are talking up UNT to other players on their teams (particularly Jordan Williams to Jarion Henry). I'm sure there are underclassmen on these teams that will be turning into great prospects in a couple years. No hurt in these recruits letting those guys know what great things are going on in Denton. I am even more excited about this recruiting class now! GMG!
  13. These are the final Bubas Cup standings for the fall. They have not been "officially" released by the conference, but from what I can tell, this is how the points will be distributed. Since this is how the standings will stay for over two months, I figured it deserved a new thread. We have a real shot to jump WKU this year if our T&F has a good spring! EDIT: Ignore the numbers on the far left. I forgot to sort those before uploading the picture. The numbers on the far left show where the school was ranked before football. The actual names of the schools are the correct order for the current standings. (through football)
  14. I had a great time at the game with NT03 and TheTastyGreek. In retrospect, a 9-hour round trip drive may have been a bit much for a 2-hour basketball game, but we got the victory, and it was fun, so it was definitely worth it. Even though this team plays these close games, and (lately) has been building a lead and blowing it, I never get the feeling that we have lost control of the game. We always seem in control even when the game goes down to the wire. That is likely a product of the veteran team that we have, and it will definitely help us down the stretch this year.
  15. Off to Houston for the BBall Game! Go Mean Green!

  16. 3 seconds left...Trinity on the Coppell 1 yard line. 1 play to win the game.
  17. :49 seconds left. Coppell up 40-35, but Trinity is driving down the field, and is around 30 yards from the endzone. Game is still on TXA 21.
  18. That is not the fault of the Sun Belt Conference though...that is our fault for not fielding all the sports the SBC offers. WKU is the only school that takes advantage of this.
  19. I'm not sure what you mean by, "at least someone around here knows who did what." You guys surely laid the foundation for the Pit Crew today, but at the same time I believe it is better off now. It is hard to compare though. The Pit Crew of the old days would have immensely benefitted from the following the Pit Crew has today, which is almost certainly due to the success that the basketball team has experienced recently, as well as the fact that school spirit continues to rise despite the struggles of the football team (borderline run-on sentence, but I'll roll with it). I was disappointed by the huge argument several years ago about "who invented the Pit Crew," and all that mess. I felt that the Pit Crew was more "rebranded" for a new generation of UNT students, as opposed to what some seemed to interpret as a slap in the face to the past. Nevertheless, you guys were certainly entertaining and appreciated.
  20. Because if they had been smart and given the United States the 2022 world cup, we would be going to the games...
