Well, with the momemtum we will have coming off the win @ Alabama, I think Indiana should be a bit worried.

I have thought that this dude is a bit of an ignorant homer for a while now....and this article just reinforces that opinion. EDIT: I also want to add that the Lafayette fan base has probably surpassed WKU as the most arrogant in the conference...and I can't wait to shut them up in football and basketball.

...and it could have been worse. Complete domination from the soccer team today. Obviously, the competition was weak, but we took full advantage. We play SMU this Friday at 7pm. If you can make it out, please come, it is going to be crazy.

What they didn't mention is that it took them 5 days of shooting video to get all of the trick shots to work.

I didn't see too many people complaining....just one girl that didn't care to read any of the answers to her questions, haha. Anyways, if we just win football games people won't care how long the walk is. At least the stadium is on campus.

We should be able to win the next two games (Texas Southern and Grambling) pretty easily without those two players. The game after that though against SMU, we need our full squad...and absolutely as many fans as possible, whether they like soccer or not. The game vs. SMU last year (we play them at home two years in a row) set the all time attendance record.

70th minute: still 2-1 North Texas.

Halftime: NT leads 2-1! Our 6'1" freshman goalie is warming up and may be entering the game to start the second half.

NT Goal!!! Carly McDowell upper 90 just past the 30 minute mark. 2-1 NT.

9th minute: NT Goal!!! Allison Guderian puts in a laser from 25yds out!

4th minute: Oral Roberts takes a 1-0 lead. Bad start but still early.

First game of the year is finally here. Kickoff is at 1pm at the Mean Green Soccer Stadium. I'm going to try and post updates from my phone for goals and if anything else mindblowing occurs. Go Mean Green!

Now that UTA has an acceptable arena, and the dump that Moody currently is is getting renovated, I think it would be awesome to rotate who hosts the tournament each year.

I know it may not be as interesting as the Men's team playing, but they put on their jersey and represent North Texas just like all of the other teams do.

I agree with you 100% that this has been the case in the past. However, I know a lot of the daily staff now, and most of them are very pro-athletics. Thankfully they did not get their way in the past, and hopefully they can contribute to this campus in a more positive way in the future (which it seems to have been trending toward for the last year or so).

My only small complaint is that I wish they would have kept "Mean Green" in the official stadium name somehow, but Apogee Stadium really doesn't sound bad at all.
