Really, really weird feeling. Kind of cool though.

Troy will be the easiest (relatively) away game we play all season. No intimidating crowd, and the weakest team. WKU is good, but they have been squeeking by every game. Plus, we get them at home. MTSU should be a win. IF we are not 6-6 at the end of the year I will be disappointed. If we do get to 6-6, there will likely be 5 bowl eligible SBC teams, so a bowl game is no gaurantee, but that would be nice to at least have that to worry about.

Whatever happens will happen when it happens and be what it is. NT needs to win in whatever conference it ends up in. If we stay in the belt, the fact that SMU and TCU are in AQ conferences is not an excuse. Just. Win. Go Mean Green!

I don't care at all that this isn't NT football related....but it's just gross.

WKU is good, but I honestly and objectively do not see them coming into Apogee and leaving with a victory. I'm more worried about Troy.

You are off base. Vito wrote his blog post saying that the NCAA denied his appeal, then later went back and edited the same blog post adding the information about academics. Nice try though.

No. Our SOS wasn't enough. Our RPI is just over 100. Another great season though, just a tough way to end it. WKU has knocked us out of 3 of the last 4 tournaments...I think. I didn't look it up, just going off memory.

WKU wins the shootout...being a NT fan is hard. Very proud of the team though.

WKU puts a 30yd shot off the crossbar. Still tied 0-0. Incredibly even second half.

Wouldn't surprise me. It is going to be a nerveracking second half. I hardly ever get this nervous even when the football team plays. EDIT: MTSU is cranking the jams at halftime. Which is to be expected, but with the SBC broadcast, you just get to listen to what is going on inside the stadium. EDIT Again: Second half underway.

Kelsey Hodges hits the crossbar on a 45yd free kick in the dying moments of the first half. WKU cleared it away. Shots are even at 7-7. NT has had the better of the attacking play in the last part of the first half, but other than hitting the crossbar, the WKU defense has prevented any great scoring opportunities. About 1:30 left in the first half. EDIT: Tied 0-0 at halftime.

30' in and still scoreless. Both teams playing pretty evenly. Both defenses are on their game tonight so far.

Yeah, in light of new evidence, my previous kneejerk statements are retracted. I still think the NCAA is dirty though.
