For the second week in a row NT will be in a battle for the Sun Belt West division lead. On Thursday (1/19) Denver must travel to ULM. Hopefully they come to Denton tired. Even if Denver loses that game, they can retake the west division lead with a victory over NT. UALR will also have a chance to be in a tie with NT or Denver after Saturday, but NT holds the tiebreak with them. Denver is currently #34 in the women's mid-major top 25. NT has dropped off the list. The game tips off at 5pm, and will likely delay the men's game. Hopefully there is a great crowd in there at the end to see the ladies play!

Damn...at least Lafayette didn't get him. If we could hold on to Lafrance, get Leo Thomas, and add the Mansfield QB I'd be more than satisfied.

ULM missed a 3-pointer that would've brought the lead down to 1. Laura Mccoy fouled on the rebound. Free throws for NT. Under 4 media timeout.

ULM has it down to 6 and has the ball with 5:14 left to go. I still think we hold on, but Karen Aston is going to be royally pissed in the post game.

46-34 NT. Under 8 media timeout. After we got up by 17 ULM has made another push.

32-21 NT. Under 16 media TO. ULM on a bit of a run. They changed up their defense to a 1-3-1 zone. Update: 41-26 NT. Under 12 media TO.

30-14 NT at halftime. For perspective, Jasmine Godbolt and ULM are tied at halftime. NT played sloppy at times. It really could be a lot worse.

19-8 NT. ULM Timeout. Just over 8 minutes left 1st half.

If you are a NT fan in the American Southeast you're out of luck. The game is blacked out in Louisiana to Georgia. In Denton though, the game can be watched on ESPN3 at 2pm. This game is for the west division lead.
