A little history....NT is 3-12 all time against ranked opponents, with the last win coming 10/10/2003 against #21 Denver in Denton. That was a 3-2 OT win.... OT should be underway now.

Anything that isn't the Green Brigade all sounds the same to me.

The 90 minutes are up....just waiting now on the updated from College Station....They have posted for every goal scored, so if that trend did in fact continue, we should be headed to OT. EDIT: Headed to OT tied at 2. Let's GO MEAN GREEN!

I couldn't find live stats anymore...I'm just keep refreshing my facebook page waiting for NT Soccer updates....they have not posted anything in about 20 minutes...There literally should only be seconds left in regulation. I'm getting a little anxious.

I sat in the student section for the first half last night with a bunch of other alumni. I don't think I"m quite ready to sit down during games.

At work, I overheard a coworker (who I know to be a NT grad) get asked who they root for in college football. The response was "Well, I went to NT so....I'll root for anybody". NT will gain respect as soon as our own people respect us. I know that is preaching to the choir here, but it is the truth. I WILL get that person to a football game this year.

"start me up" by the Rolling Stones was a favorite of mine during the bowl years, although that may have been before...I don't even remember it being thunderstruck last year....I thought it was more along the lines of rap.

That might be a little more feasible, particularly financially.

I think we would see student attendance skyrocket if at each home game, in the fourth quarter, the Athletic department gave out a "fall tuition" prize, in the amount of the average tuition for a NT student. Draw from the list of all students who picked up a ticket. It would cost about 20k a year, but would probably be a big draw.

He feels however he feels, but I still think he should apologize. There is no point to keeping a part of the fanbase where you went to school upset at you. Just say something to the effect of "I loved my time at NT, and that will always be my school", and then be more careful about his tweets in the future. He doesn't have to specifically say he was rooting for NT over LSU, or anything like that, particularly because that would be a lie. Nothing we say on a message board is going to change his mind, but he certainly has an opportunity to please all parties involved....especially considering the LSU fanbase probably doesn't know, or care this is even happening, and he may or may not care what they think anyway.

Agreed. If a team tries too hard to show mercy, at some point it gets to be just as insulting as running up the score. I am a big fan of teams playing their game for 60 minutes and the score is what it is.

That match could have swung either way...looked like Tech had more of the killer instinct. Tech moves to 8-1. NT falls to 7-2. Tournament at home this weekend for NT.

Yep, all tied up at 1 set each. Tech is undefeated by the way....didn't look at their schedule to see who, but they are 7-0.
