I doubt we get any top 25 votes for two losses. I think this team may be a little too young for the Top 25, although, we should be able to string a bunch of wins together when sun belt play starts, and I do see a win Sunday against a good TCU team. Next year could be the real breakout year. We have a bunch of Freshman on the field in critical positions this year. The fact that we can go toe-to-toe with these teams should be a big confidence builder. All we have to do is get to the NCAA tourney and anything can happen. We've showed that we can compete.

Despite the history with it, I think any mention of eagle (other than Scrappy obviously being an eagle) will be met with resistance. If so, I would suggest: Student Side: North! Alumni Side: Texas! Student Side: Mean! Alumni Side: Green! Together: Fight! Fight! Fight! Anything we do needs to be led by someone...preferably Scrappy on the jumbotron after every score, or there will never be any coordination. At KSU, the cheerleaders lift the Wildcat on a platform above their heads so everyone can see, as well as putting it on the jumbotron.

I don't understand what the big deal is about playing an FCS team. There were lots of ranked teams that played FCS teams this weekend. Go down this list for next week and it is happening again. The attendance was better than Indiana last year as well.
