We couldn't possibly mess with our decades of uniform tradition by doing something cool that potential recruits would love.

We played Georgia closer than they played BYU...it will be a tough game, but I'm not terribly worried about it.

I hope they keep this on year after year although it is unlikely. It is great to see the behind the scenes. Seeing DMAC in the locker room on this series has made me a fan of his more than anything else.

This plan is epic. I really hope they manage to implement most of it in the next 10 years...actually defining the outside of campus with greenbelts and entry signs is going to be really cool... Also interesting the way they show Apogee stadium being expanded....I'm guessing that entails getting rid of the wingzone and then completing the bowl, thought that is difficult to show on a drawing.

If BYU knew how to hold onto the ball they'd be up by 20 right now.

That will only happen if the team is playing well down the stretch.

I expect to beat them regardless.

I'm sure there is a decent amount of NT alums up there...we are everywhere. I'm not sure how the alumni association works with regard to privacy and such, but they may be able to at least let you know how many people they are aware of in that area. Also, go check out a Seattle Sounders game.

So do stadium openers against regional rivals.

I would like to see the athletic department pick a game and give season ticket holders extra seats to take to work (with the amount of NT alumni working in the area, most people probably work with some), the bingo club (for our retired GMG.com pals), or give to other friends who are alumni and get those who have become unattached back into the stadium. I want to say this has actually been done before...my gut says it was the MTSU game a couple of years ago in the rain, but if it was, the weather certainly didn't help. Now that the team is getting some attention it is the perfect time to do something like this.

He is certainly a special player, but I was kind of hoping we would be able to effectively recruit more players with his talent level in the future.

Honestly, at this point we just have to give Benford another chance because we really have no other choice...if he fails again though surely he will be fired...right?...right?

The chiding certainly isn't something to be afraid of. Fans helping promote attendance is addition by addition, and to call it anything else is silly. Anything that we can do, spontaneous or planned out can only help this program.

If (and that's a big if) we were to win out there is at least a 50% chance we would host the CUSA title game. I'm not sure how the host is decided if both the east and west winners go undefeated in conference. There have been a lot of hypotheticals out there recently. If we were to host the CUSA title game would it sell out? I would say yes if it were promoted right. That's a long way down the road but it would be pretty neat.

That's awesome! Who knew it was possible to play good football AND mold the players into good husbands and fathers.

Didn't Rice put up 77 on us in 3 quarters back in 2008. I hope we repay them for that this year....with a victory of 1 point or more.

Well, I didn't get to see the game (the time change ended my chances of making it). I do agree we are much more organized on the defensive end than on the attack, and good teams can neutralize our forwards...did we not put much offensive pressure on them out of the midfield?

So.......one game at time? Haha. I'm just along for the ride. Would love to see us romp through conference like the early golden days of the Sun Belt (what was it 26 straight conference wins?), I'm just not about to expect it. Too many crazy things happen in college football these days. Just look at all the FCS upsets this year. I will, however, go bonkers after every win and break the DMAC 24 hour rule every time.

I'll consider us to have made it when we have a watch party in another country...97and03 needs to get on that.

Fair enough. I think we have a good chance to win most of them, I just don't see any of the remaining road games being blow out wins for us.
