I need to go back and find where I found the tiebreakers...its head to head, then record against the division, etc...eventually it works down to whoever had the best win against a team in the other division regardless of whether or not it was a common opponent...I believe BCS standings is after that...I hope I'm wrong.

Tulane wins that tiebreaker because of their win over East Carolina...unless MTSU manages to pass them in the east standings, Tulane would be the champion of the west division.

good grief. I'm terrified we will look back on the Tulane loss and it keeps us out of the CUSA championship game. We have a lot of our own business to take care of before then, but I'd trade the Ball State win for a Tulane win at this point...

That doesn't necessarily mean they are a good team. Pass interference called on Tulsa on 3rd and 15 for Tulane. This isn't going to end well.,

The WBAP morning show was discussing this a well saying on Friday they think we will make it to a bowl an it would be great for the fans if we were in the HOD bowl. One of the guys is TCU's George Dunham.

Tap the brakes. I've certainly run scenarios in my head as well, which is a big reason I'm rooting agains Tulane, because if they don't lose 2 of their last 5 we can't win the west. There is also a good chance we won't win out and it will be irrelevant. USM worries me. -
Big game for us. We need Tulsa to win. 7-7 at halftime after Tulane scores late. Tulane is undoubtedly one of the luckiest teams in college football this year. Already 2 TO's and a missed 29 yard FG for Tulsa.
