Even if Marshall had lost tonight it would not have changed what we need to happen. We need to win out and Marshall needs to beat ECU. Plain and simple. If the east champion finishes with two losses in conference they could be ranked #1 in the BCS and we'd still host with one conference loss. That would've actually gotten MTSU back in the east title picture as well, which is highly unlikely now. Just root for NT on 11/23, Marshall on 11/29, and NT on 11/30. If those results all your way everything will work out nicely.

Maybe with all the extra publicity the football team is bringing in this year it will attract a donor to cover the shortfall....

Considering our wins are Northwood and Nicholls State, I think it's a little too early to go score boarding with our 2-1 record...

I highly doubt there will be any suitors after one successful season. He will need to replicate this with his own recruits before others schools come calling...if we lose him it will be because he left the program in a better place. Simply make a good hire and the momentum keeps moving forward. Marquette has a football team, right?

The game before each streak started we lost a game we should've won to a Louisiana school. Just 21 more wins to go!!

We need a big crowd in Tulsa. Having students there would be ideal. The only reason I would think the student turnout for a bus trip would be low is because of the thanksgiving weekend.

Marshall will not be able to make up that much ground in the BCS standings over the next three weeks. If NT and Marshall win out we will host unless something very strange happens.

There was one (1) NT police car with the team in Ruston (at least when the team pulled in) and came into the lot behind the busses. It was either a Ruston or Lousiana highway Patrol Car in front. Not sure if this is accurate, but someone mentioned to me that it's a CUSA rule to have at least one member of law enforcement traveling with an away team to conference games.

Very proud of the team. Some people may hear the name Colorado College and think they're nobodies, but they have a great program, were the better team, and completely dominated just about every facet of the game. A 3-0 score line does not reflect how much of a beat down it was. That's ok though. I honestly believe we will get them next year. Hopefully our team gets the opportunity to host in the coming years. Go Mean Green!

Not sure someone gave you a -1 for this. I actually think Tulane, ECU, and Tulsa should all be ineligible to host the conference championship game as well. La tech would have almost as many fans as Tulane even in New Orleans.
