I don't have the energy to look it up but I wonder if this is the most combined wins NT, SMU, and TCU have ever had in the same season.

It really needs to be just as much about fan experience and the overall best interest of the program than about the player experience. That may not be a popular opinion, but beating South Alabama in New Orleans may be more fun for the players but having a chance at a P5 school in Dallas or Shreveport (whether that's actually a possibility, who knows) is way better for the program. I am confident that's ultimately how we will approach the lobbying. Just trying to get the players a good vacation would be very Old Denton without the rest of the picture taken into account. And for the record I definitely want the players to have a great time. They deserve it. We just need to fight for an opportunity to make the biggest statement possible with this team.

North Texas will host the first two rounds. NT vs. Oral Roberts on Thursday. The winner plays TCU/Wyoming on Friday. We need to go win this tournament.

The Big 12 no longer has an incentive to expand because the NCAA gave them a waiver to have a championship game with only 10 teams. Unfortunately for Houston that means they are pretty much stuck on the outside for good with the rest of us.

RPI dropped a little below 50 after the WKU loss. Will be a nail biter for an at large. I still think we have a good case.

As unlikely as it is this should always be the goal. Otherwise we are putting a cap on what success can look like. Just ask Leicester City in the premier league.

Yes, their customer service is absolutely horrendous, but to be fair, Spirit has never had a major accident.

I think everyone with the gift of identifying context realizes they are talking about the western division title when it comes to the shirt. Don't think this is a bad karma type of thing.

Some on here have already expressed this sentiment, but why do we have to automatically accept that Littrell is leaving. I completely get that he probably will, but does that mean we can't try and at least put together the absolute best incentive package possible and give it a go if he starts receiving offers.

Not going well

Going to be a very tough game considering WKU is the host. I still like our chances for an at large bid even with a loss given our RPI.

Based on recent pictures of FAU attendance there will probably be room for about 25,000 North Texas fans.

I am hoping we try and get the best opponent possible rather than location. The Heart of Dallas bowl against any P5 opponent would be incredible for the fan base. Really a P5 opponent anywhere.
