Halftime. 21-21. After being down 15-5 NT ended the half on a 16-6 run.

Hopefully the ladies can turn around what has so far been a disappointing week for NT basketball.

Really disappointing loss. Especially with a very tough game against ODU coming up on Saturday. had plenty of chances to put the game away.

They fought pretty hard to get back into it on the road. Disappointing result though. Will be interesting to see how we look on Friday against a good Rice team.

Down 49-40 after third quarter.

It's crucial that the AAC does not get this spot every year.

That was my initial thought. And if this were Boise state or western Michigan I think it would be a no brainer. But the risk in my mind is this validates the AAC alone more than the rest of G5.

+1 for using bourgeoisie. Certainly not a term heard frequently among us plebeians.

Curious about others thoughts. On the one hand we want G5 teams to show well against P5 competition. However with UCF being from the AAC I think it makes it a little trickier.

Finished OOC 9-3. Trying to start conference play with a W against a team we've never beaten.

I get the rising expectations. That's great. We absolutely should have rising expectations. But can't we just enjoy a 9-win season and division championship for a little bit. We spent the better part of the last decade losing almost every close game like those we won this year. Enjoy it. Remember that Portland State was only 26 months ago....our leadership deserves a lot of credit for this.

63-41 NT. Final. The only quarter we really played with a high level of effort was the 3rd. 9-3 heading into conference play next week.

51-32 NT end of 3rd.

43-29 midway through Q3.

32-29 NT at halftime. We don't really look focused. More than anything credit to OPSU. They're really bringing it.

17-14. End of 1st. We look disinterested but OPSU also playing really hard.

13-9 NT mid way through 1Q. Kind of sleep walking right now.

Would be nice to see the Pit back around the 4,000 or so we averaged in JJs last year.

I haven't seen the exact details of what the police said and what the individual did that led to the shooting itself. It's obviously a terrible situation and that goes without saying. I just think that "murder" is a really irresponsible term to use in these situations. That officer didn't wake up that day wanting to kill someone. Also, I don't know how one can disregard the different mindsets officers would need to be in for a hostage situation vs.say... not using a turn signal. The information they are given about a situation matters. Could there still have been a mistake made? Sure.

It seems really odd to completely disregard the prank call as a factor because that dictates the mind set of the officers going into the situation. Of course the family is upset. They lost a loved one. Hopefully the police catch the individual that placed the fake call.

@GrandGreen, I've tagged @Brett Vito a couple of times to see if he could get that answer. I haven't seen anything but admittedly haven't looked in a week or so.
