Let's do this. Kind of limping into the tournament, but we did beat the 49ers in the regular season.

2.5 point underdogs at home. Ouch.

Make it into the semifinals and that will change quickly.

Really unfortunate how his time here he worked out. Especially after the NCAA refused to grant his waiver request that first year.

Certainly a disappointing end to the regular season (for both teams) but there are still games to play. We need large, and more importantly loud crowds for both of our teams in frisco.

No reason to have lost this game. Dug a 16-point hole looking generally uninterested and nearly dig out of it but the task was too big in the end. Really awful way to end a winning streak.

How are things going up there without him?

If this were next year I would be worried. We should win at least 2 of the next 3 and avoid completely tanking going into the tournament where anything can happen.

Well, hopefully Middle will be rusty then.

What did we look like at the end? Missing easy shots? The play by play said Woolridge missed a layup at the buzzer.

Yep. The injuries were bad this year. Like really bad.

NT up 49-47 with about 90 seconds left.

Another last couple minutes scoreless. Why does this keep happening. This loss almost certainly ends our chances at the 5 seed. UTSA will take that.

Not going well. Down 14 at the half. ODU has a terrible record but has really turned it around recently. We should beat Marshall Saturday, but the last 2 games are likely losses. Need to battle back in this one.

Hopefully the team did not get discouraged by the last three games. If their spirits are up we are certainly capable of winning out, though given the way the season has gone every game will probably be a nail biter.

This is pretty big for the conference. Hopefully they are still ranked when we beat them in the conference tournament.

If you look at the replay of it NT posted in their highlights (on NT basketball twitter) it has a much better view of it than the Marshall clip. Miller clearly touched the ball, the question is whether or not the ball was still on the way up.

Did you go into this year with the expectation of winning the conference?

We've essentially given the top 4 teams in the conference all they could handle including two pretty bad blown leads in the last two games. It's encouraging to be competitive with the top of the league this quickly. But we should have won at one of these home games. And given our short bench it was imperative to get a bye which is out of reach now. It's disappointing but at the same time we cannot ignore the fact there is life again in NT basketball.
