    It's a nice arena. But we are an almost 40,000 student state university in a major metropolitan area. Any new arena should be no less than 10,000. I am personally a big fan of the Northern Kentucky arena.

    WBI bracket came out without us in it. Which is fine. I never even would have thought about that being a possibility other than it being mentioned as such in the postgame after the WKU loss. This womens team is going to be good next year.

    FWIW, WKU ended up as an 11-seed in the NCAA tournament.

    In the postgame after the WKU loss John Liddle mentioned the WBI as a possibility. We will know tonight.

    What really stinks is that's probably how SD is feeling about playing us.

    It might mess with the sound, but i would like to see the courts turned sideways. Have about three to four rows of temporary bleachers leading down to the court from the permanent seating, then temporary seating on the other side of the court. Have TV cameras on the temporary side looking toward the permanent seating.

    You're right. No one comes close. Certainly not Louisiana Tech who has played in 3 more sweet sixteens than WKU has NCAA appearances. Plus three national championships.

    Everyone that played in this tournament is coming back next year. Jalie has gone from 11 wins to 12 wins to 17 wins. 5 players (some of which would have been major contributors) were out before the season even started. Jalie only has one year left on her contract. It needs to be extension time.

    WKU looks to have a good crowd here judging by the men's WKU/ODU semifinal. That makes it all the more important we get out in full force tonight as a fan base for our women's team.

    The tickets are free for students. Edit: I was trying to embed a tweet earlier about that but couldn't get it to work. Is there a trick to pasting a tweet into a post?

    That ticket actually gets you all four semifinals (both men's and women's). NT is the final game of the day.

    8pm tomorrow at the star. MUCH more convenient time than the last two mid-day games. This team deserves a good crowd.
