Do I believe Todge is a realist and knew the team may take a while to gel and start winning Yes. But do I in anyway feel he was sandbagging or doing anything he didn’t honestly think put his team in the best position to win No. Starting players with experience early in the season isn’t sandbagging it’s called coaching. But as the season goes on the upside of playing younger players and getting them experience for the future out weighs the slight edge the older players may have. There is no sandbagging involved Todge did what any good coach would do and I think it will pay off down the line.

If anything it should help us but you never know. We competed with them for some kids who may see the instability and switch but If smu does spend some money to bring in a name it could lead to an attack on some of our commitments.

Would I rather be 4-0 under any coach yes. But I'd say 0-4 under Dodge is much more exciting than 4-0 under Dickey would have been. Winnings the most important thing but a fun product on the field goes a long way.

It shold end up similar to our old games with UO. Running the draw three plays in a row and punting runs a lot more clock than Dodge did so Utah State should be able to keep them around 60.

It's too early in the season to tell. If either FAU or Troy can win out after beating BSC schools then I'd sacrifice a NT win for the good of the conference but odds are both of them will lose a couple more games so I'd like to be one of those losses.

I's really not sure I pulled that number of wikipedia and they may be wrong. Either way they're smaller, average higher attendance and are winning games straight out of D-1 AA
