Well there are only so many Southland Conference games you can schedule in one season. The last 5 games were against {DRUM ROLL PLEASE } Rice,So. Miss,UTEP, FIU, and UTSA. The win against the over rated Roadrunners was unexpected but against the wins against 4 cream puffs was not. Regarding Liberty, they lost to ULM, power house of the SBC.

We sat on Miami side and fans told us they only brought half a band, which was ok as we only played half a game.

Chad Morris was on UNT sideline yesterday with his son

Didn't he go from Arkansas to Tennessee to TCU? -
No, CUSA is the worst FBS conference by a long shot.

Well, we played two of those bowl games with a losing record so I really didn't expect us to win. Utah State was a top 25 team, Fine got hurt early, so I am going to set that one aside as well. Troy and Miami were basically u-pick-ems and we got thumped by both. What really surprised me yesterday is the the O line that pushed UTSA around was ineffective , but they basically were facing a 9 man front that dared us to pass. Our defense is what it is, but they were on the field 17 minutes longer than the Red Hawks as we only had the ball for 20 minutes. Our QB play was probably a C+ , which is an area that needs a major upgrade. Moving forward we need above average play at that position which no one on the roster appears to possess the skill set required.

Perhaps we should look at the [in my opinion] bigger picture. With a few exceptions, North Texas has been in the lower half of the Western Division of CUSA since joining. This Division is basically the worst of the worst. In 2023 we are scheduled to join the Western Division of A.A.C and grouped with SMU,Rice,Tulsa, Tulane, and UTSA. Based upon where our football program finds itself today, will be ready to compete?

Well,I really didn't even think about the hardware. I guess I should have but was concentrating on W's and L's. You make a good point.

Seth is 29 & 29. We have coaches in our Football Hall of Fame with worse winning percentages.

Not looking at it across the field from the West side. I went to USTA game Tuesday night and they filled the East side. If their game had 16,000,ours had about 12,000. Pitiful turnout, which matched our 2nd half performance.

We are. The East side is for home team, West for visitors. Also, last night there were no printed programs that I saw.

Correction,. There are a few restaurants at N/E corner of Main and DNT, but they have very limited parking.

I was at the game last night and that is an accurate number. SDSU brought their band, dance team, and cheerleaders as did UTSA. The Roadrunners had handful of starters who opted out in order to prepare for NFL draft, including their stud running back. Both teams seemed undisciplined, especially the Aztecs. There were over 20 penalties , at least half of them personal fouls. A parking tip. Jake's Burgers is directly across from Toyota Stadium on Main street. Adjacent to it on the East side is a large parking lot for both restaurants and apartments with plenty of space. If it is full one block South is Cinamark theater, which has a ton of parking space behind it. We got there at 5:00, couldn't get in Jake's, at at Mexican restaurant next door with an hour wait. There are a number of dinning choices on the East service road of DNT and Main Street Northbound . In addition both East and West bound on Main Street a few blocks from the stadium offer dinning choices. However,to my knowledge , down town Frisco, only has Jake's, a Mexican restaurant, Italian restaurant[ where food is good but small venue,] and a Sushi bar.

I have never been sure that Seth was offered the K-State job. Usually when a coach says he is withdrawing his name from consideration for a job means he didn't get an offer.

nice!

Well, I do love a parade! I have not seen this many Trump Turnips since Biden won the election. I assume you are in front wearing the red hat, which is a better look than than the buffalo head.

Is DFW the center of the College Football Universe?

You might want to rethink tornadoes. -
So you are going to define basketball attendance by liberal vs conservative? Didn't I see you on TV inside the White House wearing a buffalo head ?

Both our previous First Responder Bowl games were played in the afternoon[ although I don't remember the day of the week.]with about the same notice.
-
Toyota Stadium seats 17,500 to 18,000. They lost about 2,000 seats when they remodeled and added the Soccer Hall of Fame. My seats are in the east section 105 , which is the Red Hawk's home side . Most of the large block of tickets available are here, such as 108 and 109. With 10 days to go, and the west side almost sold out , we should see some movement here but who knows. We were 5&7 when we played Army in the First Responders Bowl and had a good turnout so I am hope full of the same. However Miami of Ohio isn't going to bring much so its up to us.
-
Now that is really sad if some fans think $25 is too much to pay for a ticket.

Are parking passes available or are the lots 1ST come and cash? -
In the past mediocracy was the norm at North Texas. However in the past 10 years we have invested about $100 million in bricks and sticks, upped our coaches compensation to meet the marketplace, added a student athletic fee, and moved up to a prominent G5 conference. I was a freshman in 1961, have supported the athletic department with both attendance[ until COVID] and financially to the best of my ability, and remember a program that was so broke that when our women's basketball team won the Southland Conference Championship under Judy Nelson didn't have any money for a banner to hang in the Super Pitt. They came to me for the $500 needed, which I gave. Now that is pretty pitiful! Fast forward to 2021 and yes, I do have high expectations, and you should too! Expect more or you will get less.
