  1. I'm not totally sure it is white. I like it though. Even though it isn't white white.... Like privilege white.
  2. Wait, there is a screw lot? I immediately begin to care about a screw lot. Sounds fun.
  3. Pegram will have a stellar year and have the most rushing yards of the three. And I am not just saying that because I adopted him as my son.... I mean, player.
  4. I agree. It is going to be tough. We might only get what.... maybe 42 on 'em this time. I would say only get 48, but then I think it clearly will let my allegiance show.
  5. I fully expect our backs to get a 1,000 yard combined performance against them. Maybe 2,000. But, i don't want to sound too much like a homer.
  6. So God really did intend to make BB an outdoor game. Once again, people have jacked with all that is good and pure.
  7. I think it is safe to say you just pulled a Travis. Just let your SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUULLL GLOW!
  8. Ha. I didn't read the title thread. I am an idiot.
  9. Regardless of how our play is THIS year. I won't miss LAST year's QB anymore or less than I do at this very moment. There are too many factors from last year to this year for that to be the only thing that matters. He did a solid job last year and did what we needed of him to finally win us some games. But, comparing one position from this year to last year with so so many changes just doesn't seem well thought out.
  10. Underrated... I want to say Andy Mac. Just because he apparently has done enough in the eyes of the coaches to fight for the starting job but very very few people give him any credit.
  11. And how is this UNT related? oh wait...
  12. I agree that it can slow the game down. I am all for a balanced attack. I am just saying theoretically, if your goal is to score, then I don't care how it is done... whether in one minute or in an 8 minute drive. And, count me in as one of those that would like to see the forward pass on a first down a little bit more than we do.
  13. Why would any coach not want an offense that works "too well"?
  14. He did fumble, but he jumped on his fumble. it wasn't a turnover.
  15. Are we already preparing for a crappy offense??
  16. Ok. How about... We kicked his ass the first year he was at Baylor after leaving Kentucky. Which still stands as the largest victory against a BCS school.
  17. I would have stayed at Kentucky. That was a program that had low expectations and moderate success would have kept him employed for awhile.
  18. I would hate to live in idabel. Love beavers bend though.
  19. For the record, i don't care who is in there if they can get it done. I just hope we see something new in McNulty that we haven't seen in previous years. because it was ugly. hell, even the spring game was a bit ugly.... like when he fumbled the ball and no one was even close to him. good times.
  20. So Greer can't do those things? I wasn't really seeing this as a DW or AM thing... I was seeing it as a JG or AM.... I figured-based on what I have seen last year and the year before- that Greer was going to get the nod.
  21. I agree that he was the best QB option we had... I don't see how this makes him a 'great' QB. It just simply means he was the best option we had of the group of QB's on the roster.
  22. Harry will pay the winner $10,000! Thanks Harry!
  23. I am not sure how this year will prove anything about the QB play of last year... I do not doubt that DT was the best we had out of our QB stable. I was the best QB out of my intramural team, but that didn't make me ready for the big lights. We have a mediocre stable the past several years. And so did my intramural team. He was 'good enough'. His numbers weren't all world and most of the time we just needed a QB to play smart. Not to put the team on his shoulders. Just rely on a great defense and a good special teams. Do I think we will have a 'good enough' QB this year? I am not sure. Probably not. But, there were a lot of factors that helped DT (turnovers from a better D than we will have this year, Brelan, Byrd, Smith, a great special teams that gave us solid field position, etc.) that I am not sure we will have this year anyway. I think it is apples to oranges to compare this year to last and declare DT a saint of QB saints. Our great QB in DT couldn't even get Honorable Mention All-Conference Honors.... So others didn't really notice him either.... Am I happy he was under center to lead us to wins? sure. But, i don't think he is an unobtainable standard we have never had before.
