  1. It's Middle Tennessee's way of sticking it to the man.
  2. Do what you do. Bits are fun. Who cares what others think.
  3. I don't believe he asked, "what would you do with a million dollars?" But, if you don't need a million dollars to do that... then kudos to you, sir. If you do need a million dollars.... then give us some of your money you greedy bastard!
  4. I am likely going up to them mountains in the Boise National Forest and get a cord of wood for fire for the winter. Permits are only $12.50 a cord as opposed to buying a cord from a private vendor for $150-$175. No thanks, I will go do it myself.
  5. Good news for me then... my kid has absolutely no athletic talent what so ever.
  6. No no no. You guys don't get it. We are supposed to be missing DT right now. We have no time for another QB to give positive attention to. This isn't the script!!!!!!
  7. Agreed. The way he does his blog now is much easier to read. you have start (top) to end (finish). It allows you to easily follow and read where you last picked off... Thanks Brett!
  8. That is awesome!
  9. Pretty sure you are about to see the beginning of the 2015 Heisman winner's coming out party on Saturday.
  10. I don't know if MTSU will beat Memphis.... that might be our only black eye.
  11. I didn't get a negative impression. he seemed the way he does a lot of the time.
  12. Are you insulting the 2014 Heisman award winner? You vastly don't appreciate what we have. Next year, you are so going to miss DW.
  13. Agreed. We are looking at a season record the same as we had last year at this time and we saw how it turned out. Extremely early to say either way. We are still in competition for first place. Anyone who gives up this quickly has a bit of a knee jerk reaction.
  14. It isn't a stupid idea. I think it wouldn't be a bad idea... however, I feel we have had an adequate 'try out' for Greer. I would much rather give DW 2-3 quarters and give mcnulty the rest if we aren't seeing much. Though, we will see enough to feel confident he is the guy here on out barring injury.
  15. Again, while there are a lot of errors from many... I get to thinking that a key thing is simply chemistry. Greer lacks chemistry with his wideouts and his comfort with his o line. In the limited time of Williams, I see the exact opposite.
  16. There seems to be a serious lack of chemistry with Greer and mcnulty and the rest of the team. The biggest thing I saw with DW in there was a better connection between him and the others.
  17. ha. the similarities are uncanny.
  18. This! If it is a maturity and respect issue... then Chico and Mac need to take put more attention to those things. After all, coaching is mentoring is helping them make better life choices and responsibilities. If that is the problem, then perhaps he just demands a different kind of attention from the coaches.
  19. Another thing I thought of... Either way, the coaches are sending a message. The receivers seem to have no trust or connection with Greer. If the coaches keep forcing the greer thing with the receivers, then it sends a message to the offense that they will not play the best players. Kind of a 'why try' mentality develops. If DW is as immature as we are lead to believe and he gets the nod, it sends the message of 'you don't have to respect the rules' and can create a precedent of character decay. There seems to be a degree of damned if you do, damned if you don't. However, I still think that the simple fact that he was out there showed that he is beginning to show up or 'mature' as Mac calls it. Regardless, if maturing or becoming a man is the issue.... hopefully Mac and Chico will take increase their attention on him. After all, certain kids need different things for their own development. I think you can groom DW even while giving him the ball.
  20. It is an interesting dilemma. But, my only question is... why play him at all (#2 or otherwise)? If he has done enough in practice and meetings to warrant seeing mop up duty, then how does that mean he shouldn't see more? I assume that since I saw him out there last night, that he has been showing up more.
  21. This kind of post gives me tired head.
  22. Oh my god!!!! My mind is blown. We have a momma and a daddy SOW with a bunch of eaglet SOW! Sweet!!!!! I dig it.
  23. I actually agree with Malonish. I understand how we are insulted to think that little ol' UNT slobber knocked SMU is downright embarrassing when we know we bring more than that. But, look at it this way... Getting their ass kicked by Baylor is understandable. They are the nations elite. Getting it by us... Well, neither UNT or SMU would expect that from the other's team. Honestly, we didn't really expect it to go THAT well. They got beat bad by a team that they were at the very least 'perceived' as equals to. They have pumped tons more money into their program than us and still got throttled. They claimed this game was meaningless and unimportant... Nothing special. They lost their starting QB and their head coach because of us. They literally have no hope and they haven't even played their third game. They got destroyed by us with a team that Jones said was his most athletic one yet. Sure they might have even uglier losses. They will likely have a one win season. But they will be so because of our game. Because of us! We effing said we drink your milkshake! They did hit a new low and, rather than be insulted, I am more than elated that poor little us got to deal that blow. The season may play out to show this game differently. But, right now... It is certainly a new low for them. And I get the giggles because of it. Let's kick back and watch us deal more season lows to other schools. Go Mean Green!
