I miss the pre-Benford days like UNT90 misses DT.

He's quite the motivational speaker!

From my experience, those guys on that particular team were among the best I dealt with. Sure they made some dumb decisions from time to time, but overall they were probably the best group.

I see he is going the same path as Craig... in taking a year off and then becoming the eventual starter.

He never got along with the team at UNT. And he seemed to have an apathetic attitude here.

I tend to think they are major cities. In that case... Denton is not a major city and we shouldn't be grouped in that. Denton is to Dallas what Norman is to Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City is a major city. U. of Colorado is to Denver what UNT is to Dallas. LSU in Baton Rouge. Baton Rouge is a major city. Miami U has been a traditional powerhouse. Tempe, Lexington, Pittsburgh are all major cities. Columbia South Carolina and metro area. Knoxville, TN and metro. U. Of Arizona in Tuscon. Washington in Seattle. In basketball practically the entire Big East is in a big city.. dupaul, butler, creighton, georgetown, marquette, St Johns, Xavier. Nebraska in Omaha, Rutgers had sniffed success. Syracuse, Duke. NCS in Raliegh has done good things. All i would consider big cities. Many of these are of the 100 largest cities in the country.

You have. And when I read it, I get that you are saying that Benford can't coach. What I don't hear you saying is that FFR knows more about basketball than Benford or that FFR is a better coach than Benford. Not sure how anyone could get the the latter conclusion.

Those are painful. Like I said last game. We live or die based upon the shooting of the other team. We don't seem to have the horses to out gun an opponent.

They had open looks all game, first half included. I thought you 'knew basketball'? Even the commentators were talking about how Creighton was doing everything right except the shot not going in. They simply started to hit those open looks in the second half. The same looks they had in the first. It isn't an agenda, i simply don't see it without your biased eyes.

I think we were fortunate that Creighton couldn't make their open looks. They were getting plenty of solid looks with their movement and simply missed. At the end of the game, the ball simply bounced our way more. Great win, but I will hold my expectations for the rest of the year as I am not sure how much it really told me.

You are correct. I recall JJ having a talking to to Mitchel after his first game when he came in all fired up and talking noise on the court. I also know first hand that he would discipline his players when they acted all big time.

I am happy for the win. I am even happier of all the threes creighton missed. They had tons of good looks and have hit those shots in most every game they have played. We were fortunate to hang on for the win. We were fortunate that they started to hit those shots too late.

Yeah, I just remember Coach Mac himself saying that he and his staff made mistakes in recruiting. So... I struggled seeing the point of bringing that up.
