I am a big life long fan of your books.

In life, the pain of staying the same has to be greater than the pain of changing to really go in a different direction. In this case, Portland State got us to that point.

I love the hires.. but, we have already shown to put way too much in our athletic department administration... This will only compound it unless moves are being made.

My point is that it isn't a 50/50 toss up and not every game is just because the score is zero when they begin and that there are only 2 teams playing. They are better than us and arguably significantly better than us. We will have to really bring our best for it to be considered close to an even chance. The odds are against us and rightfully so. I hope we beat those odds. But, it looks like a bigger mountain to climb than you may realize.

That is not exactly how it works. Would you still say the chances of winning are even if say the Denver Broncos played a team from the Denton All Stars Youth League? According to your logic, chances to win would be even for either team. Is it? Is it really?

Would it be a toss up if we were to play Alabama?

I agree. I hope we can get something good (2 of 3) out of Army, UTEP and UTSA. The others are really tall orders... maybe getting Marshall on a down year than they are used to will help... but, it would be a super tall order to win all four of those.

Was there a good reason why they fired the o my good coach they had?? I don't remember so well... something about him either getting into a fight or just not getting along with the AD.

I expected some good things from him based on what I heard out of fall camp. But game 1 didn't match the fall camp rumors.

Why would you do that? Do you not know that college ball gives each team an opportunity?

The streamed kinda sucked. Really sucked in the first half. No audio and a few lags. One time the stream replayed their first or second touchdown like 30 times or froze. It got better in the second half when they were able to get their audio working. But, it didn't show score or time so you really didn't know down and distance so well either.

Have we ever came back down 17-0 like this?
