This is something I have said the last 10 years, unfortunately. I understand why we have/keep Hedlund. We win games with him. And he has a good program. But, CUSA and even the Sunbelt weren't known for great soccer really. And our style isn't all that 'clean'. We just have low percentage chances of actually winning games against tournament caliber teams come the end of the season simply because possession based teams only get better as a season moves on while a long ball style team that relies on the counter pretty much stays the same.

We should have gone with North Texas in script on the 50. No one is ever going to know who we are just by looking at an eagle.

GOOD. Honestly, no one should ever take the opinions of us all that seriously. We are all just a bunch of big dumb animals.

The foul was pretty blatant. Not a smart move... especially when you had the player already close off her own angle for any real scoring opportunity (save for a blunder by the keep). It just wasn’t necessary.

That was really ugly soccer on our part. Granted I only saw the last 25 minutes of play. But it reminded me of typical Hedlund soccer... which drives me crazy. And is the kind of style that won’t win us big games. It is a low percentage style of play against decent possession teams. Possession beats long ball most every time.

I don’t care for the names of those uniforms. I shall name them myself. And I am really hoping we wear our ‘Sweet Sassy Molassy’ Unis for SMU.

I am not sure BK will help this team. He is like 36 now. And probably out of shape. And I’d put my money on it he can’t dunk like he once could. I think we would do better with the current players.
