They already think we have gone to the AAC.

I love UNT as much as the next guy and will always identify with the university. But, having my family work at that place (grandfather, grandmother, aunts, sister, spouse, and myself), a father who was one of the Assistant Vice Presidents, I worked there for 5 years, I have two degrees from there, my family has a combined 9 degrees from there... I can say confidently that I will not always root for our Alma Mater because our Alma Mater has done and will do some shady shit. The things they will do for what they think is best for the university is not always right. I will like to go with my conscious and back the things I think are right despite it being a part of my identity. Unfortunately, my inside knowledge of some haven't always made me the happiest. Politics, image, and protectionism can sometimes be too important than doing the right thing.

Did you ever try that sushi place that folded a few years back that was over near the fry area. I loved it. Who doesn’t miss the chicken tendies from State Club?!? Also, did anyone ever go to the food truck the Angry Friar ( the double decker bus) back in 2011?! I was in love with those fish and chips.

I understand fighting for more money from the university... but I don’t see how if they have a successful biz that they can’t move it somewhere close to the university and still imitate their model.

I am not sure conferences care about tv packages as much as they used to. It certainly hasn’t served us that well in CUSA.

BSU's stadium is really crappy with sight lines similar to that of Fouts Field. It is an old stadium with the stands set back because of a track that was around the field. There isn't anything nice about BSU's stadium at all, but they win. You are right, that is all that matters.

Hell yes to the MWC. More prestigous in all the main sports than CUSA. Totally worth being affiliated with even if a difference in time zones and distance. They are head and shoulders above our current conference and it would be a huge step up. The name power is far greater than us Sun Belt 2.0.

Sounds like you have never heard of the freshman 65.

Apparently. I am not allowed to use phrases on this day like: we launched a website, mason invades your endzone, Fine will attack your defense and today conference USA, tomorrow the world.

Former FSU Starting QB Francois to FAU
Travis replied to TheColonyEagle's topic in Mean Green Football
what is the over/under for him staying there? One full season? That is my guess. -
I only point out that there often is at least one or two really weak teams, including us for a few seasons, in this conference. I am not sure out conference will ever really shake that for the foreseeable future.

We have been there. We have been worse.

Even scarier is the triple threat qb. Can you imagine him being able throw, sing and dance?! -

Oh man. I could only do five minutes of that... it was painful and I have no idea how to actually comprehend what he said. Wow. -

Yeah. I was about to be sad.

We are going to have the same problems next year as we did this year.

I understand the public good argument. But who gets to determine what is the public good? In this case, it is the state determining what is good for the state. I still question its fairness and always will. Again, I am a huge proponent of property rights and individual rights. This only goes to show you that, in a sense, we really don't own anything at all.
