Questions for Vito to ask SL at this week press conference: How do you sleep knowing that you are stealing money from a clearly weak G5 football program? When you are in your office, do you do a dr evil laugh knowing you bamboozled millions from the university? How much scoffing do you do behind the other conference’ head coaches backs knowing you only need to put in half the know-how and get paid more than all those other suckers?

We are overpaying. We need to just find someone else.

They did. As well as the F_U’s and it now showed that we should have gone with the ASU’s and the like. Market is over rated. Especially when you don’t really have a corner on the market at all in your area.

I struggle seeing how UtSA is an attractive option at all? Are you saying that just because they are in San Antonio or because they had one single good year last year? Outside of the very very recent success they have done nothing. Rice has shown nothing. I just struggle seeing how those two are at all attractive when they are maybe fourth or fifth in their own market at best.

But why? Why must we follow a guide, first of all… and in the NIL era, it behooves us to help them improve their name and not make it a mystery.

First of all, I know… uniform talk…. the jerseys yesterday were sweet. I love the true emerald/lime green color. one thing I want to see is the names on the back of the jerseys. We haven’t had that in awhile and I would love to have those back again. Especially in the NIL era it seems to only help our players be more easily identified. Which is something we should be supportive of to be competitive. And I also don’t like to have to play guess work on less familiar guys. I vote to bring back the names printed on the freaking jerseys!

We really shouldn’t be shocked if this is true. Kinda par for the course for an SL team.

I really want to see more from our WR and QB. I am not encouraged for the season based on this first half. thank god for Torrey. He has always been Mr Reliable.

Yeah I had to stop watching it.

I am sure that hurt us. We definitely had some key players out. However, they still looked like a typical hedlund coached team in an NCAA tourney game. The long ball kills me. The commentators kept saying stuff like ‘man every time we get the ball up top we have one girl to their four’… Well yeah that’s what happens with long ball. You literally are forcing your player on an island all by themselves against an entire defense. Easiest to defend. I am sure Baylor loved that style. It all but assured their victory when we did that.

That game looked just like their ncaa tournament games 😬
