It seems by some of the chatter from the thread on UaB and WKU that there is a sense of optimism about what we will likely do in todays game. Let me extinguish that real fast. There is no hope for today. We will perform in the UNT way as is proper custom. I only tell you this because I fear for the lives of some of you today. People will begin eyeing the tops of buildings and bridges as an easy out…. All because of some misguided optimism. For your soul’s sake, don’t buy it! We are doomed! I do hope I am wrong. Very wrong. But I don’t feel good about this one.

Also keep in mind that one of those bowls we got in with a losing record. And another one we likely only got because so many other schools decline a Covid year bowl game.

Going to bowl games as an argument has got to be the weakest argument of all.

How many colleges are there really that aren’t ‘accepting’. It is like a burger joint advertising ‘we have fries’. So does everyone else. It was amusing to see the difference between smu’s commercial and our own. If I am going to go to college, I want it to be that I am bettering my future. Not that I need to know I got lots of food options at a dining hall I would likely use for only my first year.

Unt commercials have to be the absolute worst. We boast that we want all the wierdos and that our dining halls make good food. Like that’s our hook.
