We follow this team and are the biggest fans this organization has. I show my support by showing up to every home game and at least one away game a year. I follow the team, the goings on of the program, and promote the sport to friends and others. However, I am not going to be blinded by optimism and be unrealistic. I see where this program is and it isn't pretty. Last year was pathetic and I don't think i can find any real strength from any unit on that team. Besides the one year we went 9-3... that comment that we have been "good" prior to last year is questionable. Hopefully, things will be much much better. But, I am not going to act as if we are better than we really are. Not, until i see the progress.

four games... we will win four games this year. none in ooc... all in a weak SBC.

Damn it! We lost a good one. No one will really know the wonderful things he did for this university and my family. He will be hard to replace.

I understand that TJ Raymond went to Junior college to get some grades in order. The sounds of things I heard last is that there is practically no way he is coming back. Is this true Harry? Did he just dig himself to deep of a whole?

I hear alot of talk that this now pushes a mediocre cowboy team to a playoff cowboy team. HOW?!?! As I recall, the WR were our strength last year. Signing T.O. doesn't answer our needs for a solid O-line... or, a lack in pass rush. Or our horendous/porous secondary. We have so many unanswered needs right now that I don't know how strengthening our WR will all of the sudden be the answer when it never was the problem.

OH NO! Someone accidentally put the Eagle logo in front of the E. Now people wont know what school that shirt is trying to promote.

My thoughts.... honestly.. not too much different than last year... a few games might go our way that we narrowly lost last year. but, I am not going to say we are better till I see it in August in a real game.

I was merely assessing the game last night. Remember i said twice "Based on last nights game". And it seemed that Ieans did do better.

Based on last nights game... I would put Phillips as starter and Ieans as back up. I know that might shocksome... but, wilson didn't impress me much compared to Ieans based on last night. Just my opinion of that.

On my judgement of last night... I would rank the QB's as 1. Phillips 2. Ieans 3. Wilson. Wilson started making something happen in the second... but, it just seemed Ieans did better. What do you guys think?

I see no way possible that he is drafted at all. and would also be shocked to see him as an UDFA.

Here are my thoughts... Compared to Trilli, JJ has brought us a step up. It is nice to end up at a .500 record than the results that trilli brought. But, I have the feeling that JJ has taken us as far as he can and this might be the best we can get out of a season from him. I have my doubts that he can take us to the next level, though I am appreciative of him bringing us above what we were. It is time we find someone to take us further.

This will also test RV to see what direction he wants to take with this. If there was a year to let our basketball HC go... this would be it for it seems there are quite a bit of good named coaches out there.

I dont know how disappointed anyone can be in this. It was expected.

Does anybody have that? I went ahead and bought it this past month... and I have been extremely disappointed. I have broadband and it seems very slow. And very poor picture quality. Furthermore, while the audio continues at normal pace the video constantly keeps stopping and appears very choppy. It seems moreso a few pictures (and by a few I mean you will look at one image that is suppose to be video for a good 10 seconds while the audio runs) with audio that isn't worth the price. I doubt i will renew because of this. Does anybody have that same problem?! It messes up for me on just about every single thing I open up. The only time the problem isn't much of a problem is when I am viewing things live like the signing day press conference. Has anybody seen the new piece they did going over a few of the signees? It was horrible because there was no video at all. Am I the only one having this problem? Luckily I only got it for a month. I would be pretty pissed off if I paid for a year of that.

I guess what we wanted to see more of... is the stuff that Tim Macmahon did like calling out Dickey and Trilli on the poor play. Or not putting in this guy or why did they make that bad decision. I absolutely loved when Tim called out Dickey and told him that it was stupid not to play Branch at reciever. Sure enough his first pass as a wide reciever come next game was a 60+ yard scamper against Oklahoma. One article of Vito's that I did appreciate was him saying that they should start Phillips over Meager at the end of the season.

and to add to GrayEagleOne... the last time a D1AA came through... didn't they win? FAU?? transitional or not.. It would add insult to injury to lose to a lower division team. And based on last year's team... i am not so sure we would beat a d1aa team anyhow.

don't you think there shouldn't be this much mystery to a player when it comes to bringing in a juco transfer? I would think more things would clear up about a player who has two extra years of playing. If they are still such a mystery, would you want to risk wasting a scholy on such a guy?!

I doubt we will get past the first game. I might not know that much about bb, but... does it seem like we take way too many threes? its like every game is based on a prayer that we hit the threes we throw up. Furthermore, does it sometimes look like we are playing just a street-ball pick up game?
