  1. Our defense hasn't kept us in games for the past 3 years.
  2. it looks like a coke can stadium
  3. I don't think Dickey knew defense. Outside of the years of Brandon Kennedy, what other times were we good on D?
  4. This isn't a cheerocracy. They are the cheertators and what they cheer-say cheer-goes!
  5. Meager did a great job. Kinda choked in the end trying to make something happen. I don't blame him on the first int. I liked going for it and it was just an outstanding play from the smu cornerback. We have much to build on and that is encouraging
  6. SMU's board only has a few that are funny... most are either ones that I see most every week and very unoriginal or not funny at all.
  7. The only thing I was expecting out of the game was to be competitive. Thats all. I want us to be competitive with the anybody. I didn't see that last night but hopefully it will be night and day difference next week.
  8. Word. I really don't know if Vizza would do much better. But, I would like to see someone else behind the center than Meager. Meager is looking like... Meager.
  9. We look just as disorganized as before.
  10. Well, i wanted to see us be a team that competes. And I haven't seen it at all in the first half. Man, we look god awful!
  11. It wasn't the West Hall RHA. Though, the RHA has some fun stuff planned this year.
  12. That was a very important play.
  13. quadruple reverse Or punt. it would really be a coin flip
  14. I think the biggest play was the draw on 3rd and long against LaTech that only got 4 yards in the 4th quarter. I think it was then that one of our big donors turned to our AD and new president and said, "we can't afford to keep this coach" Which led to... The Dodge
  15. where do you go to hear it?
  16. the bigger they are, the harder they fall.
  17. They had a pretty decent set up at the Loophole. At least there you could hear everything.
  18. I remember thinking the same thing the time I went two years ago. I thought this was a show for the fans. I would like to see a little more consideration for those that are wanting to see the show face-to-face. Glad you brought this up.
  19. Right now my clock says 2:13 p.m.
  20. I thought this was a great article.
  21. I completely agree with you on this. But, I will say that we looked real poor in overall execution of plays. Even on three step drop passes Meager or Vizza was getting pressure and a few times lit up. And, nothing is more frustrating than killing a play with a poor throw. We didn't run much as it seemed that we were really trying to work strictly on the passing game. It appears that Dodge must be comfortable with the run because he isn't putting much practice time on it.
  22. I was at the scrimmage and I gotta agree with Dodge2007. It was pretty discouraging. and if we look like that next week then the score will be very much equal or worse to that of Dickey ball against the bigs. It wasn't just that the D-backs were getting a jump on routes.... Meager was underthrowing the ball several times to wide open players. Pass coverage was real poor.... but we all expected this. OH, and my HSO.... expect D. Cox to get more carries then J-Mo this year. Even with a healthy J-Mo. I am just sayin'. **I will say that Meager also had a few pretty sweet tosses as well. I look forward to watching Thomas act as a wrecking ball on the D-line this year. I think he can really do some good things for us. And I love seeing our D-backs not playing 15 yards off the line. We may give up the big play every now and then but at the least we are making them work for their plays instead of just giving them the guaranteed 5 yard routes.
