a lot of students don't realize that they can incriminate themselves by what they post on facebook. Regardless of what happens on or off campus they can be held accountable for pictures or what they say if it violates the student code of conduct.

when did you go? I was on the dependant scholarship from 2000-2004 and paid tuition only. I am currently an employee there and my wife gets the same treatment because of my employment. I remember at first feeling guilty when I voted yes for the athletic fee and new rec center while at school because I wasn't paying for it. But, I was student at UNT like everyone else and I have a right to vote. So it cleared my conscious quite fast.

It is the other way around. he wouldn't have to pay fees... but he would have to pay tuition.

It will be different... But, i was told that it will be minor changes. Nothing really drastic that changes what you see before you.

I doubt grades were an issue with him. We are only hurt by APR if he left at the time he was academically inelligible. I don't think that was the case for this guy.

What impressed me most about the all star game was his ability to scramble. He is fast and avoided so many sacks with his movement.

Brigham will be a WR for us right? Dodge doesn't look good... but, that secondary for the South looks outstanding and really shutting things down... the DL for the South looks very strong too.

You mean you have no information to insinuate that a stadium will be built at that time. Others however feel/know that it is very much a possibility/reality.

Big news in store indeed. Things are getting off the ground and a plan is set. I hope everything goes accordingly... but, I wish you guys would realize how hard we are moving on this.

This person is speaking out of a lack of information. 1. He is clearly uninformed. 2. He doesn't realize what not having a new stadium/ new stadium deadlines means to the program.

I wouldn't say "final" (yet i kinda do) so much as there is a fundemental concrete layout... there will be some modifications, and some tweaking here and there. But, essentially the layout, setup, and structure appears to be set. at least, that is the idea i am getting. but, what do i know.

You may have a valid point... But, what exactly are you wanting Bataille to do? What makes you think her and/or RV haven't been rubbing shoulders with a few big donors? What makes you so sure there isn't a game plan? I understand you and anyone else being frustrated with things and how the past has been. But, you are not "in the know" of things. You don't know what they are doing. You are just jaded from the past decade or so of an athletic department making empty dates for a new stadium. I understand anyone feeling that way. but, I believe things are different. I have never seen the effort made now that was never made before... These past 6 months have been full of new stadium activity. I have seen what we have to look forward to... and it looks pretty damn sweet. Everything depends on the support of the students. I believe it can begin or end with the them.

I don't think that will be a problem at unt. But, if we don't get this stadium going... it most likely isn't because of the school officials. It will be because of the students.

An attempt to get things rolling with the student population will be this fall. Not next spring. And if successful, this will be a very very big announcement.

ultimately, it is the students that have to buy what athletics is selling.

ah, i see. I was most stoked about Franklin coming in. I thought he was going to be a huge huge asset either position he plays. I hope he makes some serious noise his freshman year. He has he size... i hope the technique, speed and skill are equally impressive.
