When can we buy the tickets?

You have some good ideas near Galveston? Because Landry's Operations seem to own practically the majority of the island besides the Moody group. I have always liked Saltgrass and the aquarium has a cool atmosphere to eat at... I agree that alot of it might be overpriced... especially Landry's Seafood House. But, I applaud them on making both Galveston and Kema more touristy. But back to my question... what great restaurants would you suggest around the galveston area?

My thoughts on last night... The place is beautiful. It is very nice and comfortable. This place has a great set up as a sports grill. The media room is freakin' awesome the way it is set up like a theater. I absolutely loved the food as well. I loved having highlights of last year on the projector and I hope to see highlights of the previous game up there as the season goes on. My complaints... Lighting was poor (for the projector maybe) and I agree that it would be nice if they were on a riser or something. The room capacity might be bigger than sweetwaters porch but it didn't feel like it. It looked like the amount that showed up for the show was pretty typical but it seemed the place couldn't hold that many fans that well because every seat was filled and there were people lined up along the walls. I wish there were a few bigger tables like that on the first row for the show so that we could have bigger groups in there with out them getting separated... but if I were going to get a bite to eat and watch a game witha friend or two i prolly wouldn't care so much. The service was slow but there can be many reasons for that. I ordered a drink that took literally 20 minutes to get. At least it was taken off my bill because it took so long. Great place and I will be back!

The owner of Landry's has reallly made that into a nice spot. A lot of great eating establishments and fun stuff for the kiddos. I plan to stop by there while I am down. I am really looking forward to some fun in the sun and a win by our meanie greenies.

huh? I am confused now. Was my wheels off post when I said I saw this guy and he was big and I liked him coming on board? Because I don't think that is wheels off. and it seemed that post is the one that MCMLXXX was making fun of. It might be a simple statement... but not wheels off. I hear that! My wife and I and a few others are going to spend 2-3 nights in Galveston for the Rice game. It doesn't hurt that her family has a nice little beach condo. Woohoo for free places to stay!

last season we had a website that consisted of all the TV games for the year. It was pretty extensive.... do we have that site for this year?

I love that simpsons episode. Pure greatness. I saw the US game, it was brutal and much more exciting than the final score showed. I am a big soccer fan especially at the international level... but, I must admit it is annoying see how wussy most soccer guys are... i know they are just trying to draw a card but it ruins the game. And with that it ruins the sports fan's perception of the game. Especially, when football is king in these parts soccer just comes off as a bunch of silly nannies kicking a ball around.

a lot of students don't realize that they can incriminate themselves by what they post on facebook. Regardless of what happens on or off campus they can be held accountable for pictures or what they say if it violates the student code of conduct.

when did you go? I was on the dependant scholarship from 2000-2004 and paid tuition only. I am currently an employee there and my wife gets the same treatment because of my employment. I remember at first feeling guilty when I voted yes for the athletic fee and new rec center while at school because I wasn't paying for it. But, I was student at UNT like everyone else and I have a right to vote. So it cleared my conscious quite fast.

It is the other way around. he wouldn't have to pay fees... but he would have to pay tuition.

It will be different... But, i was told that it will be minor changes. Nothing really drastic that changes what you see before you.

I doubt grades were an issue with him. We are only hurt by APR if he left at the time he was academically inelligible. I don't think that was the case for this guy.

What impressed me most about the all star game was his ability to scramble. He is fast and avoided so many sacks with his movement.
