On the defensive side of the ball... i think we may have had more talent when TD first took the job than now. Fred Bliel did a good job and we had a vet d coming back when TD took office. We know what happened with that D. We are in worse shape now in that department... On the offense I think we are about the same. My issue with DD is that he had horrible play calling and couldn't seem to coach a balanced program. We seemed to have some skilled players then just like we do now. With not so many WR. I look to the la tech game to refer how we had some pretty decent players and what they could do with some "fun" play calling. I think it weak to solely blame the players and give the coaches a pass. I think you sell the players short when you put it all on them. Just my opinion

I know that. but, that isn't what they will look at. The average unt student doesn't care about those things. Yes, we need a new stadium bad. But, the product on the field doesn't give them a reason for the typical students, alumni, and corporations to shell out a lot of cash. I hope they are more insightful than that... But, I doubt it.

there is a good chance that if we don't get the new stadium football will be dropped. There is a good chance that the average student will find it pointless to get a new stadium for such a bad program. There could be a greater impact of our suckiness that will last longer than just this season.

I am not sure this season is salvagable. I do think coaches need to be held responsible... from the top down.

The sad thing is... i don't think Rice is that good. I believe you will see that play out at the end of the season. We will put the least amount of points on them this year. All other offenses will outscore what we did last night.

The key key to success is score more points than your opponent. I guarantee that if we do this every game then the North Texas program will definitely turn around. 60% of the time this will work everytime.

3 of the 4 under dodge. I don't want DD back... but this season is more frustrating then many under DD. We at least had one aspect of the game done right during DD days. Now we don't have anything right... offense, defense, or special teams.

Call me negative ned... but, I don't think people are going to see it that way. The football team isn't giving a good case for why students should help give them a new football stadium. At a time when they need to put an exclamation point on such a huge time for athletics and I believe they are blowing a great opportunity to get people excited about what could be. I expect the average joe student out there to feel the same way.

I thought it interesting that Norm picked UNT over Rice this saturday.

You also forget how great their utility player in Casey is.... I expect all three of them to have a big game against us.

Does FAU come across to you as a very inconsistant team? Get destroyed by UT... barely lose one to MSU and then get beat pretty bad by Minnesota?!

I call this game a semi success. Defense looked good out there against a stellar team. Granted they had a young QB. But, our offense really needs to get their act together. They have too long to go. I am happy it wasn't a 50+ point loss though.

When I talked to RV... he spoke of making this stadium a "green" stadium. He gave me a bunch of examples which would truly be revolutionary and be one of a kind.

From what I have heard what you see is pretty much the stadium as it is going to be. There will be some variations... but nothing that will completely change what you have there.

I don't get it.... why renovate that crap.... waste of money. They blew their opportunity when they passed on the cowboys.

it needs to be on youtube.... that way alot of people can access it. So many college kids play on that site anyway.
