  1. Me too emmitt. me too.
  2. so far so bad.
  3. A new low indeed. I just got back from the game. i just couldn't take it anymore... i don't know if i can take it anymore for the rest of the year. i have reservations for the La-Mo game... i think i am just going to go ahead and have fun at shreveport instead. Bring on BB. Bring on next season. I think i am done.
  4. I don't miss Dickey at all... and i NEVER want him back. I am not sure that we have proper leadership right now. This has to be an all-time low.
  5. I would probably give dodge the credit.
  6. As a father of a three month old i say RUN! get out and get away. Your life is over.... and you just kissed any shred of freedom goodbye. Just kidding, it is worth it... sort of.
  7. Woohoo... my favorite recruit from last season is 1st string!
  8. That is really funny. I love it.
  9. Yes, because the fact that I know for a fact that there were not previously formed questions asked this past week and three weeks ago at the show obviously means that you can sum my entire life behavior as being not always right, but is never wrong. and yes, i am happy now. let's never fight again. Even if Dodge did say something to the effect that he can't wait to have the majority of the team picked by him then I, as a fan, wouldn't be angry with him. I can understand that line of thought to an extent. Not necessarily as an excuse for failure... but, it is understandable that when he completely changed the program here and how extreme the change was that it can take time getting the right pieces in. But, I know that actually saying it publicly would alienate the current team from him and be counter-productive.
  10. That is good news.
  11. Just saying it isn't always like you say it is.
  12. They may have fixed the questions before hand for the show(s) you went to... but... Let me put it this way... I got to step up to the mic and ask a question last time i was there. And no one told me what I could and couldn't ask. I guess this was the one you missed. So... I don't know what more "proof" you want than my own personal testimony.
  13. I think he was just inferring that it wasn't a leak from the line where someone got through to block it.

  15. Thats not true... I know for sure that they give freedom to the questioners to ask what they want. at least that is how it was for RHA.
  16. This is the first perpective that actually has made me lighten up a bit. Thanks.
  17. 21. I have been impressed with Cam Montgomery. I think he is a great runner that is effective at getting some decent yards.
  18. I believe our success this year hinges on who/if someone steps up into a leadership role. I don't know if we have anyone to do that.
  19. Yes, you are right... we are in a "what have you done for me lately" business. I just don't think it fair that we call for his head 4 games into his second coming.

Which is what I have a problem with. I was hoping to see progression at the very least. I haven't seen us be competitive at all this season. We haven't been "in" a game at all past the first quarter. I thought that is why we got rid of DD.
  21. I haven't noticed yet... but has Troy Franklin played? or is he red shirted? One thing I have been happy about... Cam Montgomery and Lance Dunbar have been much better than last season's RB duo. I hope to see them get better in conference play.
  22. On the defensive side of the ball... i think we may have had more talent when TD first took the job than now. Fred Bliel did a good job and we had a vet d coming back when TD took office. We know what happened with that D. We are in worse shape now in that department... On the offense I think we are about the same. My issue with DD is that he had horrible play calling and couldn't seem to coach a balanced program. We seemed to have some skilled players then just like we do now. With not so many WR. I look to the la tech game to refer how we had some pretty decent players and what they could do with some "fun" play calling. I think it weak to solely blame the players and give the coaches a pass. I think you sell the players short when you put it all on them. Just my opinion
  23. You obviously haven't been talking to higher up people.
  24. I know that. but, that isn't what they will look at. The average unt student doesn't care about those things. Yes, we need a new stadium bad. But, the product on the field doesn't give them a reason for the typical students, alumni, and corporations to shell out a lot of cash. I hope they are more insightful than that... But, I doubt it.
  25. there is a good chance that if we don't get the new stadium football will be dropped. There is a good chance that the average student will find it pointless to get a new stadium for such a bad program. There could be a greater impact of our suckiness that will last longer than just this season.
