I am curious whether people have a problem with Riley being the heir apparent to the QB throne. From what I have seen Riley can do really well. Sure, there is a few who wonder about his longevity but can't that apply to anyone/everyone? I know I have said it before... but, it sounds like some take issue with Riley and, to my knowledge, he hasn't done anything wrong. He looked good last year, he looked amazing in high school... I can't wait to see what he brings and from what we have at qb right now he seems like the best/obvious choice to take over.

I see this... i guess, my only issue is how much we regressed from frist season to the second. I would hope we would have begin to see improvement but it was quite the opposite. At least in the first season we were in games. There were several we could have easily won. But, this season we were pretty much out of all of 'em after the first quarter.

My thoughts exactly. Most students that attend UoP aren't kids, at least of the traditional student type. I am of the understanding that they are now starting to have campus' around the country too.

Ha.. I think we all know the source of that. If you are one of the +15K that regularly go to the games then you can witness that.

My only issue is that Dodge isn't retaining the players he has brought in here. I am not sure how he amounts up to a typical class but he has lost a high amount of his own guys that is quite unusual to me. How can he get his players for his offense when he can't even keep his players around.

There are several people that give info on here that they recieve but don't give their source because the source wishes to remain anonymous. If I were to break that then I wouldn't get any more info. Now, it may or may not be completely true. But, the source is quite reliable to me and I will take what is said as truth.

It is simple... The reason he transferred was because he was told by the staff that Riley would start come the fall. He wasn't willing to play second to anyone so he got out of Dodge. Pun intended. This event doesn't make me mad at the coaching staff nor Vizza so much. The coaching staff can play who they want. Whether it was his fault or not... and I am leaning towards not... the simple truth is that we didn't win with the guy behind center. I don't mind a change in guard to see what happens. Maybe it will be the change that will save the program... maybe nothing will change at all. But, it is what it is and Vizza apparently would not settle being a back up.

I am not sure I care either way with this whole vizza thing. Here is the bottom line... Vizza was told that he would not start next season and that Riley would. Vizza didn't want to sit in the back up role. So he leaves. He wants it all or nothing at all here at good ol' UNT.

That must be it. I knew that Printers started a few years at tcu than transfered to a 1-AA team. He was a pretty good QB. Especially while at Desoto.

I was wondering why so many people were bashing Riley... Perhaps they are in the know but what has he done to warrant this? The few times he played last season you saw some promise... I can't wait to see what he offers. I would leave the vizza and todd dodge thing to vizza and todd dodge.

Have we ever went on a 6 game conference win streak since being in the SBC? I don't think we have.

When the SBC had only one go to a bowl game (unt) there had to be at least 2 reps. Then when we were able to get 2 they bumped it to three... interesting.

First time we have a losing streak of 4 in three years. We will always die if we have to live or die by the three when we play good teams like this.

Then perhaps we should have thought about that when we were going for players that were 4'8"
