I think i heard from someone that Grandy's (chicken) original owner was from UNT. I also heard they sold it quite some time ago. We all know mattress mac from gallery furniture.com.... we also know we will never see him around here again.

I wonder how many owners of successful businesses come from UNT and the degree of involvement they have with the University that helped get them where they are... We know of Jordan Case and Park Place Lexus and how well he is involved with the university. But, I just found out that Jay Lombardo of Lombardo Custom Apparel is a UNT grad too. Especially when he gives so much to the Stars and Mavs market, I am not sure he has any involvement with us. But, why can't that change? What others around the metroplex, state, nation do you know who is an alumni of UNT that we should target more often??

I think it is funny that they are putting their own students in the endzone and allowing the visitors on the sideline.

There is only one conclusion we can draw from this. Rodge is a dirty liar who can't be trusted.

I am glad that we are going to put the one who is most capable of getting the job done. If it was Riley, then he needs to be out there. If it is Derek or Nathan... than so be it. I don't see this as good or bad news. Rather, us trying to put our best foot forward. Riley is going to be a beast in the slot.

I think we should bring in all three of these guys and get rid of the dead weight in Josh White, George O, and Tristan Thompson.

Basketball-wise you may be right. Academic-wise, it is not in his interest. He has been here two years and has already finished the majority of his core classes (I assume). It would be an unwise move for his future because he isn't going pro in basketball.

But, if George fouled again wouldn't we get on to him about not pulling him?

I am proud of our boys. But, it would have been nice to be somewhat "in the game" five minutes after the first whistle. Well, perhaps that guarantees JJ to be here next year.

I was optimistic even while down a bit against La-Mo. But, this is a different kind of team. I just hope we can make this somewhat respectable. Tram isn't really doing much and Josh White either. Very little D out of them two.

I know that when I lost my dad two weeks after I graduated from UNT that busy work was best therapy for me. Perhaps, the tourney and s being there can be a good thing for Brett to get his mind off of all the personal stuff.

I heard JJ could lose his job if he doesn't win this one.

120 is pretty good considering how many teams play at this level.
