New Mexico and La Monroe bring more to the table than UTSA and Texas State. If you want the Belt to continue having the perception of just taking in D-1AA teams then let's add UTSA and Texas State. But, i much prefer the WAC to now have that title.

I will tell you what will hurt perception... adding more D-1AA teams to our conference. The WAC is doing it out of necessity. We aren't in that position. So we take NMSU and La Tech and that is it....

Maybe, but they have no power in this. And they shouldn't.

Put ULM in the West, take out TSU and UTSA... make it a 12 team league and now we have something.

I would much rather have ULM than UTSA. And UALR being in our conference is just fine with me. I don't mind bringing in NMSU and la tech. don't care for anyone else from the WAC.

maybe... I am also sure if he had went undefeated he would have been gone too. But, we can't speculate on what could have happened... We can only go on what actually did happen.

Johnny Jones could easily take another head coaching gig. Dickey couldn't even at the height of his success.

But there is not something just for the EPL. I would hate to have games against NCTC or The Colorado School of Mines.

Thanks, I saw this last night and thought it was odd. I didn't understand how a local mesquite blog came up when clicking on the mean green blog. Then it was still that way around 11 this morning.

The only thing I dislike about the EPL, is that there is no playoff. I like having a post season tourney that makes for a all-on-the-line, no-holds-barred kinda game where you win everything with a win and lose everything with a loss. Well, no a no holds barred kinda game because that would mean anything goes. side note: I would love the NBA to have something like the EPL plus playoff.

I was at a viewing party with family and friends and before the game I was going on and on about this running back that we need to watch for... That he will be the next P. Cobbs. And, it was so awesome that his first touch was a long touchdown. Not to mention how amazing he was the entire game. I loved being right.

Yeah, it was effective enough. I think we would all agree our defense is what got us those championships. I miss that D. Our offense worked to control the clock and hold on to the ball to get us enough points for the win in conference play. But, exhilarating wasn't exactly the feeling I felt. Frustration was more like it for me. It seemed many times Dickey and co. simply were outcoached. And if I recall correctly, I remember the USU board feeling the same way when he was OC there. Perhaps, he has changed a bit while at New Mexico spreading it out, but I never looked into how well he did last year. I just never went away from Dickey coached games amazed by our coaching staff's offensive genious.

You would want him running our offense as our offensive coordinator? Again, I don't see how he keeps getting the offensive coordinator position. Statistically, he had a horrible offense. He had a boring offense and he had a predictable offense.

I just don't see how dickey keeps getting these offensive coordinator jobs?!
