I was just thinking about the current status of some of our greats of yesteryear and where are they now. Since it is a slow off-season, I would love to share what is going on with some of our players who have gone through the NT system and where they ended up so far... Really, anybody you can think of.... Some guys that come to mind are: Andy Blount Jamario Thomas Jonas Buckles Craig Jones Brad Kassel Chris Hurd Patrick Cobbs Jamel Branch Adrian Awasom Taylor Casey Brandon Kennedy Casey Fitz etc. Some basketball guys: Leonard Hopkins Chris Davis Calvin Watson Keith Woodson Anybody have any updates on any players?

Good player who had tremendous potential here with what he did his first season. I wonder what made him leave.

In the past, NCAA has released kids from a scholy when there is a coaching change.

This Is Beautiful And Deserves To Be Reposted

FIU just looks out of place on that map;. -
I am quite fond of Mozart Square.

I got the impression Trilli and RV didn't leave on a good note. Even if we wanted him, I could see Trilli's pride stepping in.

The picture for the Rice stadium is funny because it shows nothing but Houston red in it.

I bet that UAB stadium, like Rice, has to look really empty on game days.

CUSA More & More Likely For North Texas
Travis replied to MeanGreen61's topic in Mean Green Football
President Rawlin's alluded to the fact that we are going to CUSA during the President's sack lunch today. -

I would love for it to be UNT and La Tech. Easy traveling partner that will give me the excuse to go to Shreveport and gamble here and there. -
They would offer him at least a million a year. If offered, he is as good as gone.

High school is about development and growth. Not about winning at sports. As much as I am a fan of sports, I think it wrong to invest in large amounts of money to see schools win... Even if it were voted by on by those of the city. It is a shame and shame on them. Sends the wrong message about what is important.

If you were on Highway 98 in Destin, you would have seen me with my UNT gear.

Benson's "love affair" with North Texas
Travis replied to MeanGreen61's topic in Mean Green Football
I really like Karl Benson. I understand why he has done what he has while the WAC commissioner and I am appreciative of his positive perception of us. -
There were two of them. One was the linebacker. The younger one was the QB.

Patton should be starting next season. I see it as... Patton/Jordan CJ Jordan/Alzee Mitchell Franklin

We have seemed to respond better than I thought with them gone. But, there was a bit of chemistry missing in the fall semester that as the season progressed and the play of Tony, we started finding ourselves. I look forward to next season to see what they all can do together. I am expecting great things.

And this is not racist?
Travis replied to DeepGreen's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
This post seems like there are several logical fallacies in it. Unless, I am confused at what your point is... Because, to me, it seemed like you were trying to discredit his statement by bringing up where he possibly was born. Something that does not make his argument invalid. Furthermore, it assumes a lot of someone just because of something out of their control like where they were born.
