I agree! It may have been a bad game on both sides... but I wasn't really impressed at all with Tulane or La Tech when they played each other. It seemed like both teams didn't want to win it. Based upon what I saw from that game alone makes me feel pretty good about this one.

I would take Mack Brown if we were to lose Mac.

I would have been worried about La Tech last year. But, I am not worried about them at all this year. Tulane beating La Monroe doesn't say too much to me because I think La Monroe is doing the same thing like La Tech.

So did I read this right that they claimed that the staff should have hired BETTER life guards? Meaning that they DID have lifeguards... that did save his life? money money money. MONEY!

I too am growing tired of the avoidance of UNT. The athletic department wants to separate themselves from the rest of the university. That is why they go with the North Texas thing. This will not change until we get a new AD. I look forward to our branding the next go 'round because our marketing geniuses don't seem to see the error. RV will not do anything to change it. I grow tired of seeing "North Texas' everywhere including the helmets. I want to see UNT and I want to see a better something for our brand. But, it isn't going to happen because our AD is convinced that it isn't a good thing to do.

I JUST FIGURED IT OUT!!! HELMET STICKER! We switch to a new logo on the helmet and we have the biggest win in quite sometime. We go right back to the block lettering crap and we lose. It is the damn helmets!

Do you beat your balls? Or do you think it is better to just move them around with your hands? I have heard the best way to savor them is to roll your balls in our mouth.

didn't you make a big prediction a couple years ago about how our team would end up, and it went in the opposite direction? You know why I remember, because I believed you. I allowed my heart to just hang out there and I held on to every word you said. I clutched so tight and you made me dream bigger than before. I flew so high because of you. I dreamed your dreams. It was so beautiful. But, I was left at the altar heart broken. Our romance lasted a short while as reality came crashing down. Never again will I trust your words. Your sweet, sweet words. no homo.

This is always my thought when I see family members of current players tell us how we need to be, think, act. Not that they are wrong or right. It is just that most have a temporary interest in the program and are gone as soon as their 'special player' is gone. It carries more weight-to me- when someone who has been posting on this board since the days of the Scottie debacle tells us a refreshing take on how better fandom is supposed to be. I don't say that in a way to discourage new posters or ideas.... I say that only in the sense of 'only a few know what it is really like' kinda thing.

I don't know why, but I keep reading Virginia wrong when I glance at it.... and I think, I want to know how I would emote given that situation.

I agree with everything you have said in your post. He is a good corner. Some big plays just got the best of him and I hope he sees this as a push for him to get even better. I think of last year and how he led the team in interceptions. But, I also think of the many he dropped too. He could have had more receptions than many reserve receivers. That just shows you how fast and quick he can be. I hope we see him finish his career here as one of the best that came through our school. I just don't want another game like last week.

35- Ball State 21-UNT Count me as one of those that will complain even if we lose by only a touchdown. My head says this, but my heart says we will win. It will be my heart talking after the game.
