Can there not be a lawsuit on discrimination grounds?

They might have that kind of record... but they will still take it as part of the 'haves' than be us as a 'have-not'. Baylor was quite happy being the bitch of the Big 12 the years they were the bitch of the Big 12. They didn't care to be a big fish in a smaller pond.

How is it ok for him to say this?! I hope more are speaking out against this. I find this truly outrageous

TCU to play Ohio State in a home and home
Travis replied to untjim1995's topic in Mean Green Football
Yes, our AD really sucks at this. -
I predicted 6-6. But, when I continue to review the teams and the match-ups.... I think that 6-6 is really conservative. The more I look, the more I see a 7-5 or 8-4 year. I will still 6-6 because I don't want my homerism to show too strongly.

Breaking news: Former K-State OL says he's headed to UNT
Travis replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
I am not sure what you mean by 'might as well sit'. It makes little sense to simply not try to play this year... He has already spent his redshirt. He would just lose a year either way. We could always use depth at that position. And a backup role is perfectly fine given the quality of line we have.- 19 replies

This is great news! With this guy, sam, and the 2015 commitments, we are really getting a great group of lineman.- 19 replies

Where Are They Now? Former USF Coach Jim Leavitt
Travis replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
It was so frustrating to see a team like this pass us by in 'speed of light' fashion. Trends do their thing and they have since came down a little from that lofty pace. But, they continue to reap the benefits of it. -
6-6. Too many questions. We had questions going into last year about how well our line would be and it turned out great. To have that answered two years in a row, extremely difficult.

I love these threads Harry. Thanks for doing these.

That is great news!

I thought they are like Hard Knocks and just go to a new team...
-
Ha. Me too!

Arguments can still be made about his performance being just average last season.
-
I think the story will be that we simply reloaded with a practically a completely new defense and won thus continuing our rise.

Political Quiz
Travis replied to LongJim's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
I think you are right. My original post I had more so the private sector vs the public sector. -
I'll answer this one. My guess is at or about 2 yards off of the line of scrimmage.

Political Quiz

Well I was thinking social vs private. But I could also see a social conservative means one who aligns with tradition in which they find what is moral or not. -

I believe what you are saying is the same thing. Social conservation is the same thing as fiscal conservation...almost. Fiscal conservatives apply libertarian values to the social sector. Where as liberals apply libertarian values to the private sector. So I would say that a social conservative would always be similar on the fiscal conservative side since they are the basically the same thing. A social conservative would want small-limited governement that would not spend much on entitlements and -in theory- have less regulation. A fiscal conservative would want small-limited government that would not spend much on entitlements and wants less regulation. Both want limited government control in this sector. The only difference between the two is that the social conservative encompasses more than just spending(fiscal conservative). -
I kinda wanted to see oklahoma city get one. The city embraced the Thunder.

Conservative Party-92% Constitution Party-91% Republicans-91% Libertarians-85% Democrats-65% Green Party-54% Socialist-9% I was surprised that my Libertarian percentage wasn't higher and that my republican percentage wasn't slightly lower. -
A North Texas legend to have his number retired

Grant, remember when we would bring like 20 to the game with us? I don't think many really cared to be there... but we still made 'em come.- 17 replies
