The view from the couch was great. I had a great time being a VIP!!!! Thanks Athletic Department for doing that. It is a great idea.

The USA coach was the comedy!! He was all yelling and swearing. There were a couple of us in the Pit Crew that were shouting for the coach to just calm down. Not to mention that every time he swore we shouted kids were present. (There were 4 kids all under 10 years old sitting right behind the USA bench! Not a good impression. ) The headbang on the court was the classic moment of the evening. Only geniuses hit their head on the opponent's home court, right?

When you say last year do you mean 2003 or 2004? I was in the 2003 Green Brigade and if your daughter was in that year I might know her!!!

We started off so well tonight. Then we got tired and sloppy!! We need to get Justin Barnett back ASAP so we can have more guys in our rotation. Our guys were getting reaaalllly tired tonight and it showed.

Yeah I have to agree with Emmitt on the turn out. For a Thursday night, it was a great turnout. We both were skeptical about attendance about 20 minutes before tip off but the attendance was decent. We coulda had the game but we didn't finish what we started. But the refs were pretty lousy too. What's new?

School is in session which means more students milling around campus. I am gonna be bold and predict 3,000-3,500. Call me crazy but we gotta keep the faith.......

I just heard that a member of the UT Longhorn band that went to D.C. for the inauguration passed away in the band's hotel from unknown causes. I am sure the cause once known will be made known on the news. Please pray for him, his family, and every in the Longhorn Nation.

I was sitting in the student section in a legitamate student section (the section right next to the band) and went to the concessions for a drink. I came back and was told that I couldn't go back down to my seat. I said that I already had been sitting there and just went back down to the seat. I understand the whole thing of having paying people sit together and have students sit in certain sections since we don't pay for tickets. But to deny a student to go back to their seat (if they are sitting in the correct section like I was) after they legitamatly buy a drink at the concession stand, then there is something wrong with that.

I am so happy that the Lakers lost!! Now, the only thing that will top this is that the Yankees either do not make it to the World Series or loses in the World Series. There is no 2 teams (all sports included) that I dislike more than the Yankees and Lakers.

A much needed win for the Stars. Keep it up guys. GO STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. I can understand that the officials do not want any interruptions but banning anyone from standing is beyond me!! I also commend the cheerleaders on last night's game!!! They were loud and into the game!!!!! Way to go cheerleaders!!! YAY!!!!!!!!

Valentine's Day can kiss it!!!! It is another day to show single people (like me) that they don't count in the world. Another day to make single people to feel even worse about being single than they already do. So Valentine's day can go take a hike!!!
