Have to agree (as much as I'd like to see someone disagree). If they're truly as arrogant as some of you elders make them out to be, then we are a simple speck to them, an insignificant institution up the road that will never truly be able to call themselves on the same level of competition as SMU (should) be. Is there a smiley for :puke:?! Because that would apply after that last statement. You know and I know that they aren't at the level they used to be, but that is not their perception nor their goal. Just like we have goals of belittling them. They had other losses, closer losses, last year outside of Denton and I doubt they are blaming UNT as THE reason they didn't go to a bowl. In fact, I'd bet they're pretty comfortable with the thought of a win against us with their starting QB playing (who they didn't have last year against us). Lets prove them wrong, and then after the win at least act like that's the way it was supposed to play out. If you want to add fuel to the "superbowl" fire and tear down the goal post, have at it. I'll be standing on the sideline treating it like an expected win. I want this to be a heated rivalry, but not an upset of a program 50 spots up in the rankings.

Just to kind of counter-punch this argument, lets not forget that some of the great players in NT history, specifically some recent players on the defensive side were converted from many different positions they played in HS. Didn't Kassell play QB in HS? Correct me if I'm wrong. Please don't translate that into Vizza playing LB . For the record, I want him kept at QB, but I'll trust Todge to make the decision in the best interest of the program.

A couple freshman take a camera and record their game day experience and what they're thinking as they tailgate with the 'rents and then goto the game. about 6 minutes long IIRC, with the guy doing most of the talking. Mostly just goofin' around, with short quips about a) the weird/obsessive fans that were walking around or, how the team was not that good. He said they stopped watching after it was MTSU 14 - UNT 0.
