I still think it can happen if we can get a S16 appearance. HUGE boost if we get a S16 win. That's a monumental if/task, though. Honestly, I think we could pull it off if we can get better offensively.

Random thought: if the fine was known about, just put it in coach contracts that you can keep/withhold that amount from them if they leave for another school before a bowl.

We have people on gmg.com that don't think we're a good (MBB) program until you're T25. CFB brands and rankings shape their view of MBB brands and rankings. I don't think these wins you listed look meaningful to the casual fan. Which is unfortunate.

We can adjust arena size, or at least its perceived size, to make the same attendance feel more big time/intense. But how can we be sure that this will flip a switch with the local casuals? I feel like anytime we make some optimistic assumption about Denton support, we end up eating crow.

Beavers won and…we dropped two spots (55-57). I suppose there are other matchups/results that play into this.

Yes, and there were whispers that the season before - the one that didn't get to go to a postseason - had a Mean Green team that was even better.

Memphis always loses focus for (at least) one or two conference games. I don't blame them, though, because I know how hard it is to keep focus for an entire season. I just wish this would happen in Denton lol. Temple with a T25 win, something our Mean Green family desperately needs to see. Seems like we can't catch freakin' break.

I'm very intrigued by UAB. Solid club that gives us problems. They are on a tear since they lost to us, focused and angry. Don't be surprised if they steal a win on 1/26. Shades of Ohio State's football loss to Michigan...could be exactly what they needed to level up.
