  1. Is this the AAC coach poll, or someone else?
  2. They'll break 20. We are no longer surprising opponents with a 3-4 defense. We still win, though. UNT 31-21 FAU
  3. echo echo echo https://www.instagram.com/reel/DA_NCHZvM9E/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  4. I am confident we will help with that inflation.
  5. Never heard of those chumps but when the day comes where we see an Austin Monolopy, they can have a single square too.
  6. We have one and his initials are P.A.T.R.I.C.K. C.O.B.B.S.

  8. Stop losing. Just go undefeated. I don't know why we bother with the losses! People would come. People would be proud.
  9. Doesn't hit the same when you're 0-54 lately, and the team is 1-4. No matter what conference you're in. Y'all might as well have taken the place of pre-Briles Baylor
  10. Their reputation affords them pretty good crowds and the support of the city. Watch all of that continue to crumble unless they get their shit together. It can't hold up forever.
  11. I"m definitely not against the kids, here. More about finding reasons to be better parents and stop misplaced blame on institutions (sometimes, it is well placed, but I dont' see that here). I'll read your links. Just my 0.02, but just because a society has gotten better about recognizing these things, doesn't mean we are better about addressing them. It strikes me more as, an avoidant generation. "I'll leave you alone to be you.", or "Okay bud, you do you just don't take away my peace." Sometimes that's what someone needs. Sometimes, it's not. Sorry for your pain, bud! This was not my experience growing up at all in the 70s and 80s. My parents, as well as theirs and the great-grands, were pretty good about sitting at tables and hearing people out, even if they didn't know how to respond. At least we all felt like we mattered and had a voice. Again, I'll read your links. But I think we can all still agree, more dinners together, less tablets. More convos and eye contact, less Netflix and internet.
  12. What letter of commitment? Was there a signature, or more like a Tweet that said "AGTG, I am 110% Committed. Thank you to my peers and fellow ADs for giving me this opportunity!"
  13. Family dinners. Healthy convos. lessons on responsibility, respect, and impulse control. As opposed to, 24/7 internet access, a tablet to babysit the five year old for 6+ hours, and takeout dinner sitting on the kitchen counter, waiting to be eaten solo at your convenience. ...that is what I was referring to when I original brought up parenting. But yeah, a big difference between physical discipline and a flat out beating. Problem is parents out there who don't know the difference.
  14. Divorce rates are at an all-time high, as well as teen depression and suicide, right? This thread was originally more in the realm of behavior patterns as they relate to professional relationships and accountability. This has obviously struck a personal nerve with you. But I don't think that's the leg (crime) you want to stand on here. And I don't' think it's a good idea in this case to make assumptions involving a graph that was not intended to prove anything about home discipline. I can think of potential things at play here, involving this decline, that have nothing to do with home discipline.
  15. Someone with the PAC numbers tell me, do they even have enough financial security to impress AAC teams? Or is it an obvious house of cards that no one wants to enter?
  16. Nothing like Rice. Academic prestige plays a part in this.
  17. I'm pretty sure he has already had crazy offers thrown at him. He's not going anywhere. @CMJ, know of any specific examples?
  18. I've been on board with a relegation system for years.
